China is protesting how a QR code dominates their lives in a digital dictatorship (& more)
Well, let’s review #Nevada in a 🧵.
Our government just created one with their vac database (a bunch of private medical info they have no right to)

They did this in anticipation for “airports” in specific, saying they might require proof of vac.
To be clear, our government imagined we might need to be drugged, compliant with a mandate and require a QR code to travel.
Sound familiar? 🤔

Then Gov Sisolak apparently colluded when he announced his latest edicts and hours later the Raider’s came out saying they had a plan that perfectly matched up… the digital QR system was piloted NFL style.
…& AG Aaron Ford threatened criminal charges for using fake cards.

“Destination of CHOICE” was somehow used un-ironically here. Sisolak didn’t take the passport system off the table & “hours later” Raiders announce their plan, that was made possible by his directive.
Also, they stupidly thought vac meant can’t get sick/ transmit, scrapped mask.

And, the Biden admin had their ways of coercive polices, working on their own passport. Idk why some people voted for this, except they didn’t realize how much of a threat to privacy and liberties these systems create.

In Canada, it’s reported that a ton of personal information was to be included in the digital health passport.

Back to Nevada, Sisolak mandated the drug or testing & masks for state workers and they championed major employers who did similar stuff voluntarily and having nothing to do with pressure from gaming regulators and bureaucrats 😉

Just kidding— the Gaming Board told all the “private” major employers what they could do the entire time. They are all appointed by the Governor.

Meanwhile, they discriminated against religious institutions (kinda like China would) and we had lawsuits to rectify. One I got the ball rolling on through protest followed by coalition building and campaigns to legal groups. We got to SCOTUS & narrowly lost. Good dissent, though

For me, there’s not a ton of difference in the PCR lines in China, and the ones our teachers stood in. In their passport, and the ones piloted in our state. In the yellow code on their phone, or our teachers’.
They did that in Nevada, too.

Teachers in long lines awaiting forced government testing.

Some testing wasn’t even based on anything other than lottery. Then you had to undergo a diagnostic medical procedure because of some government BINGO game.

Sisolak activated our National Guard for two years.
Do I take issue with our National Guard? No.
Do I like the police state optics while an executive ruling by whim calls in his militia? Also, no.

I’ll cut this thread off here and spare you of when tourists were told to come and locals were told to stay home, or Sisolak telling jurnos & bloggers to stop criticizing him, and the Northshore scandal… they were willing to do anything they could get away with & they did.

Oh, I guess I should say that Nevadans protested. Aside the religious freedom Easter ones I organized leading to lawsuit, I attended this one which was large— cool pics in article.

Spencer was arrested for “disturbing the peace” by protesting with a megaphone at Sisolak’s vax lottery— was very political prisoner.
The resisting arrest charge was dropped.

I’ll end here— I do not deny that Spencer & I made the naughty list that year.
But, Sisolak made the one-term Governor list this year.
Cheers 🥂
