For the record, they once “allowed” me to give my kid Christmas presents (as in, they gave them to her, not me) after a detective unwrapped and inspected the to make sure I didn’t have a note that said “I love you” or anything.

I wrapped them with Gadsden Flag ribbons. More recently, I walked into their Sheriff’s station to have them serve some papers and the employee immediately recognized the case, saying “the kid… the school… you’re the mom…”
Yep. That’s ME!
We spoke for a bit and she said her heart goes out to me as a mother. They know.

I can’t wait for the Cashman piece, but I feel like we already got a preview. My guess: Opposing the targeting of creators over fair use is a euphemism for taking down Elon. Eliza has tied herself to this idea that she’s “standing” between Elon and da haters. Seems imaginative 🧵 Jesus is gonna turn up in the mix, duh, that guy is everywhere.
Something about Ye being a true defender of free speech. Unless there’s a fair use image and full rights of publishers. Other than that, free speech with Ye who never objectified anyone commercially, ever.

THREAD🧵Currently, Eliza is tweeting assurances about how Elon Musk doesn't do favors for her. She also tweeted a photo with the caption "Hi". It appears to be a picture w/ Timcast jurno Shane Cashman. Tim Pool announced he has a journalist investigating. A lot of people are hoping this will be more than a puff piece, from comments I saw. But, prior to release let's note a few things: Both have extremely high opinions of each other, gushing you might say.

Elon Musk live in spaces:
Elon accuses SBF of being on stimulants during conversation that was supposed to be about Twitter:
Taking about himself & not asking questions about transaction, talking at speed of auctioneer, set off Elon’s BS meter. Asked about Assange & Snowden. Elon takes no hard position, doesn’t know enough about it.
Mod asks Elon to take a poll on Twitter about it and he agrees.

I’m proud of the nonpartisan work done in rejecting Ventura County’s ballot measures that would interfere with domestic production in a highly regulated CA industry. Grateful to have the support of labor unions on that initiative too. USA needs energy production & independence I encourage consumers to boycott Patagonia for their multi-million dollar role & tactics in an attempt to grant a simple majority of County Supervisors new powers over production that would have implications far beyond their districts. We need a thriving industry, not overlords.

This will be my most offensive post of the day; I want to redraw the boundaries of what is considered the Midwest. I’m really a Missouri girl, truth be told— and it’s as middle as it gets so I will claim expertise here.
I’m redistricting Great Lakes states.
1/
You can decide what to call your region but Southern Canada is in the running. I’m taking Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois & Nebraska (plus Arkansas). I will take Indiana if the Great Lakes states agree to taking Ohio. They are obligated to the Dakotas as part of South Canada

Student loan debate:
-the loans are mostly federally initiated, since ACA (taxpayer money)
The biggest issue is the gov is acting as a bank, these are high risk loans (clearly) & inflating the cost of education.
I don’t care about relief discussion as much as reform. It’s a federal bail out, under the guise of being really nice because obviously disappearing debt does help people to some degree.
The government took your money & made a bunch of bad loans while making education more expensive bc anyone can get big loans they can’t repay…

I made my first AOC meme about her vote on the rail strike. The psychology behind that is really weird. Sanders and Warren are NO in union solidarity. I’m no because the government shouldn’t write private sector contracts to avert legal strike.
AOC votes to impose, but adding sick pay bill, to impose more instead of letting them strike…

I don’t even like Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders but at least they stood by their version of “principles”. What world is this that I have to type sentences like that one?! Where was Sinema on that?

Kanye trying to humanize Hitler is too much for me. Hitler is why my Uncle Bernie died at age 22, in the snow, earning a Silver Star for charging a Nazi machine gun when his unit was taking heavy casualties in the bloody Battle of the Bulge.
No family has been to his grave. Image Kanye has a right to say stupid stuff, and I feel like he’s acting like a rebellious adolescent trying to push the envelope.
But, if you expect me to disrespect my own family’s war sacrifice because you think antics are effective— no.
The war destroyed the hearts of this family

China is protesting how a QR code dominates their lives in a digital dictatorship (& more)
Well, let’s review #Nevada in a 🧵.
Our government just created one with their vac database (a bunch of private medical info they have no right to) Image They did this in anticipation for “airports” in specific, saying they might require proof of vac.
To be clear, our government imagined we might need to be drugged, compliant with a mandate and require a QR code to travel.
Sound familiar? 🤔 Image

My excitement over @KevinKileyCA goes back— it’s the journey that makes the story. In the CA legislature, we know we will lose most battles, but he fought them for us. He gave homeschooling families a voice, impacted #AB5 independent contractors. He sued the governor & won… What you may not know is that we were helpless to stop bills like AB5, and he came back to fight it again the next session. We took losses. But now, they won’t get the PRO Act through if it goes party line. They can’t do that harm to others nationwide. Because we have Kiley.

The LV Sun is WILD. I went to hot-headed kangaroo court atheltic commissioner & Sisolak "sugar daddy" (that's the phrase, right Steve?) news site & OMG ITS NIK RICHIE STILL TALKING ABOUT WOMEN'S BODIES. Will the "thigh gap" be in style? Pray tell Nik.
So glad I'm with @RedState First I thought I ended up at a porn site. Then I saw Nik Richie and was like-- this can't be.
Am I in the year 2013? Have I died and gone to hell? Am I hallucinaing? Having a stroke?
No. Cloobeck "pitched" this garbage to Lombardo and cried to Las Vegas Sun afterward. So wierd.

They’re killing Cubans.
No, I’m not gonna shut up about it for the comfort of the political elite who pander and prey on immigrants in this nation.
Give Cubans & Venezuelans asylum— you know people are dying. Haitians, too.
We “vote wrong” so, that’s a hard pass for the D’s. What could be more vile than watching a government drown a baby, murder a family, less than 100 miles from US soil and not saying a word because they didn’t come to vote for YOU.
You disgust me. It’s an evil act to murder Cuban migrants & you have nothing to say @CortezMasto?

PSA: ‘No RINOS in seats’ is a fine mission in a primary, but in the general it’s: No Democrats in seats

I have a sordid history with Sen. Carrie Buck, but I’d defend her seat in a general or risk a super minority due to ego.

I’m not screwing kids out of education options. This is why I get along with a lot of factions, I traverse in Nevada. It’s because I know when it’s time to be a team player, my political motives aren’t self-serving & ego isn’t a factor when it comes to doing right for everyone else. I’ll work with anyone on the mission.
