“The Canada-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group”, chaired by Liberal MP @SalmaZahid15, hosted Nazih Khatatba and his “Meshwar Media” on Parliament Hill for a celebratory event. 2/8
Khatatba’s Meshwar Media has referred to the Holocaust as the “Holohoax” – “the biggest lie in history.” In 2015, the newspaper called Judaism a “terrorist religion,” in which killing is ingrained. 3/8
In 2014, Meshwar Media praised the the synagogue massacre in the Har Nof neighbourhood of Jerusalem, in which Canadian citizen Chaim Rotman was murdered with an axe while at prayer, as “courageous”. 4/8

More recently, he praised the heinous nail-bomb murder of 16-year-old Aryeh Schupak as a “quality operation” by Palestinians. It is reprehensible that Canadian elected officials meet with those who praise the antisemitic slaughter of Canadian citizens. 5/8
Salma Zahid and the Canada-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group have serious questions to answer. Who invited Khatatba to this event? How did he obtain a security pass? What ties does this Parliamentary Group have to Meshwar Media? 6/8
@nikiashton has already apologized once for meeting with Khatatba. Why did she not stand up and say something? 7/8
The Laith Marouf scandal has shown us that there is zero accountability in this country and that antisemitism will continue to go unchecked until we do something about it. 8/8
