He is quite fond of #Iran’s former FM Zarif (dubbed Tehran’s chief apologist) and has long enjoyed relations with Iran’s DC-based lobby arm NIAC.

Malley’s primary mission in the Biden admin is to resurrect Obama’s highly failed/flawed 2015 nuclear deal with Iran that gave the regime access to $152 billion in credit/cash.

The talks were filtered & “essentially run” by Russian diplomat Mikhail Ulyanov.

Ulyanov met w/ Ali Vaez of @CrisisGroup during the talks.

Vaez has close ties with Tehran (seen in a photo alongside former Iranian president Rafsanjani).

Malley is the former president of ICG.

He recently published a book discussing the 2015 nuclear negotiations, and the role of ICG, and a certain “individual in contact with the U.S. delegation and an active ICG member.”

Finally, while Malley & the Biden administration are so keen on returning to Obama's highly flawed & failed 2015 nuclear deal, it is worth noting that #Iran has been violating that deal since day one.

Their officials even boast about it on state TV.
