Here's a simple trick that I use to find profitable shorting opportunities using token #unlocks and inflation rates.

Looking up the #token unlocks and inflation rates for a token is one of the most profitable strategies when choosing a token to short.
🤓 Economics 101: More supply, lower prices, less supply, higher prices
In #crypto that means, If there are a lot of tokens being unlocked or the inflation rate is high, there may be more sellers than purchasers in the market, creating a favorable chance to short the asset.
Consider the yearly emissions when evaluating shorting opportunities! Tokens like $GMT ($130% inflation), $MC ($66% inflation), and $APE ($63% inflation) may be worth keeping an eye on, especially if you're looking for high-inflation crypto to short.
Also consider the unlock #cliffs for each token you plan to short. Not all cliffs are equal, some are insignificant and already priced in and some are massive and unexpected. Seek out the latter to gain the best advantage in your short position.

A simple strategy I use to setup my position is to find a level where I think most stop losses are set at.
Then I set a limit order to #short right below that level.
