If you think you’re here just for the tech, to make money, or trade monkey jpegs, I’ve got news for you.

This Web3 🐇🕳️ is way deeper than you realize.

If we do it right, Web3 can improve the life of billions of people.

We can talk about this blockchain or that protocol.

But if you don't know why we are here and what it's at stake, you will miss the big picture.

And we are a threat to the power structure.

It sounds crazy, but this is what we are building, and this is why we are here in Web3.

What drives meaningful change are communities making history by using decentralized technologies for social coordination

🔸 What is a Nation?

Nations are imagined communities built upon consent enforced by currency and contracts.

Remember this idea, we will get back to it.

Nations are nothing natural.

They only exist in the virtual reality of ideas, concepts, and conventions we created.

🔸 The birth of Nations

A nation becomes real when a sufficient number of people identify with it.

Nations are socially-constructed communities imagined by people who perceive themselves as part of a group.

🔸 Are Nations Real?

In a physical sense, nations are not real like objects, or natural phenomena are real.

Nations are social constructs created and maintained through the shared beliefs, values, and practices of a group of people.

This means that the existence of a nation depends on the collective understanding and recognition of its members.

So, nations are social constructs, and they exist in the virtual reality of ideas, concepts, and conventions we created.

We created nations.

The effects of nations and nation-states are very real and can significantly impact the lives of individuals and communities.

The effects are real of this centralized nation-state model.

The centralization of power in any system can have negative consequences,

and this is particularly true in the nation-state model that currently dominates much of the world.

Centralized systems tend to be less transparent and accountable and can lead to a concentration of wealth and resources in the hands of a few powerful actors.

This can contribute to economic and social inequality.

Everyone knows this on a certain level.

Right?

Web3 technologies, such as blockchain, offer a potential alternative to these centralized models.

By decentralizing power and decision-making, Web3 has the potential to create more equitable and inclusive systems that are not controlled by a few powerful actors.

🔸 Key Advantage of Web3

One of the key advantages of Web3 is the ability to build self-sustaining systems that enable us to form trusted relationships in an untrusted environment without needing a third party.

This has significant implications for various industries, from finance to supply chain management to governance.

Basically, we now have the technology to replace the middleman with code and dapps.

The pendulum swings towards decentralization.

By removing the need for a central authority,

#Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have the potential to create more transparent and fair financial systems.

We can’t imagine the societal impact of this new tech.

In the same way, Web3 technologies can potentially disrupt other centralized models, such as the traditional nation-state system.

By decentralizing governance and decision-making,

Web3 has the potential to create more representative and accountable systems that put the power back in the hands of the people.

In our lifetime, we will see the death of the nation-state as we know it.

We are just now starting to see it playing out.

Web3 are imagined communities that use protocols to reach consensus,

use cryptocurrencies and smart contracts,

NFTs for digital identity & property rights,

and DAOs for decentralized governance.
