Status quo advantage & clout may not be suffient to hold against any forthcoming Bitcoin Core "improvement".

And @BitcoinPierre joins @BitcoinErrorLog as a notorious small blocker that implicitly acknowledges big blockers were right, probably always were.

Explicit acknowledgement will need to get past a ton of cognitive dissonance, so don't hold your breath.
