I've seen a lot of people think that #BitcoinCash $BCH should go up in value now that #Bitcoin $BTC is wrestling with scalability issues.

In this thread, I'll try to tame your expectations a bit, and keep us all a little more grounded:
1/ Back in 2015, #Bitcoin was viewed as a panacea to a lot of different problems. Each of these problems have different value and the users back then seems to mostly be broad in their interpretations and views.

To make this more tangible, lets consider some (incomplete) examples
2/ It was widely believed that #Bitcoin would replace gold and fiat as a store of value, become a dominant type of means of exchange, would enable commerce and financial interactions digitally that was previously not possible and once stable would also be our unit of account.

Bitcoin Cash Thread -
Bitcoin expands and contracts in many different ways. In other words, it's all a balancing act...

#1
In 2017 the balance was broken. BTC would restrict the naturally required expansion of blocksize as the network grew.

Meaningful adoption of #Crypto as money still hasn't kicked in yet, despite 14 years since its inception and demand across the globe.

Why? 🤔

Because we keep getting stuck at certain levels of the adoption cycle. Thread:👇

1/12
Before going further I should acknowledge that #Bitcoin's block size limit did slow down adoption.

The blocks filled up and adoption halted until the #LightningNetwork became viable just a couple of years ago.

Happened regardless of if you think it was necessary or not🤷‍♂️

2/12
Okay so there are 4 big steps here:

1: People want crypto
2: People buy crypto
3: People want to be paid in crypto
4: People want to spend crypto

Each step represents consumer demand driving adoption, and each step needs its own tools to make this easy.

Pleas for reconciliation = subconscious fault recognition, precursor to humble conversion. #BCH needs all Bitcoiners, but cannot afford any previously purged nonsense.

Rethink the differences & come home. On some level, you already understand you eventually will.

Here's some mind numbing notes on Wyckoff and where I see we are at in this Trend Cycle.

Part of my studies have been to always apply Wyckoff to a medium timeframe analysis as I find it's helpful determining TC.

First was our markdown phase, I believe this period to be over. Image
That also means the bear market is over. Doesn't mean we can't visit $10k. The 77% move from the top to 16k I would consider to be the end of a bear market and the most money to be made is done

Next we move to accumulation. This period can last a long time. So no FOMO. Image
Spring has the potential to go a little deeper before recovery. Either way, often bears get trapped here believing market has more downside when institutional investment and smart money pops the price into the next markup phase.

1/ I've been trying to understand more about the #LightningNetwork from a user experience point of view, as I see many enthusiasts openly advocating the tool as a real scaling solution while using #BTC as money for everyday life — trying to get new users on board.
2/ I have a keen interest in using decentralized money for everyday activities, and when I talk to people who are looking for the same (or living it in practice), their experiences involving lightning are usually pretty negative.

Among the negative reports I see, mainly ⬇️
3/
> Custody;
> Theoretical vulnerabilities;
> Dependence on intermediaries for routing and tendency to centralization;
> "Voucher" system;
> Payments that are not completed;
> Lack of routes between channels;
> Higher fees than expected;
> Lack of liquidity for higher values;

A) muita gente defendendo o uso da tecnologia, sem tantos relatos de uso real;

BTC is "Bitcoin" only because a group of centralized exchanges gave it that ticker.

In other words, it was fixed.

A few dozen people decided that the Segwit fork would be "BTC" and the version that worked the way Bitcoin had always worked would become an "altcoin."
There was no level playing field.

There was no hashwar.

The market did not decide.

The market was not given a choice.

It was fixed.
Remember when Faketoshi split BCH?

Even though he was a total fraud with a completely bogus motivation for causing a split only two weeks before code freeze, exchanges still gave that bozo a level playing field, renaming BCH into "BCHABC" and "BCHSV".

Adoro receber feedbacks positivos, mas minha evolução profissional se dá principalmente onde existe conflito, pois me motiva a melhorar e me permite aprender coisas novas. 2/

A bit over a year ago there was a lot of discussions about #BitcoinCash and the topic of a #Roadmap. Back then, I spent some time with @im_uname to get his views on the path forward but after some exploring of the subject we put it aside.

This thread is a look back on our notes.
From a scalability perspective, there's a lot more that can be done, but there was mempool improvements, unconfirmed chain limits was removed and I think there was some delays in transaction relay that was addressed too.
There has been improvements to extensibility and script: we should have native introspection, multiplication and 64-bit integers after the May 2022 upgrade. Work has been put down to re-evaluate safe script limits, but unclear when/if it will be complete.

I love how you can watch the history of literal wars ticking in while a node is syncing.

Every time I'm watching a node sync, I get to relive all the history of #Bitcoin, #BitcoinCash, #BSV and #eCash.

Lemme give you a glimpse. Image
Here's the Bitcoin Cash hard fork in August 2017. You can see how initially blocks are super spaced out.

Due to the higher difficulty, there were only a few benevolent miners.

Later, it's able to process many more blocks, as BCH had much less usage.

Bitcoin Cash was born. Image
Here's the "stresstest" the camp that much later became BSV did in October of the same year. It takes much longer to process blocks as they're filled up to the max.

Back then, the maximum block size was just 8 MB, so my node still only takes a few seconds for each block. Image

YESSSS!! This is truth!

Anyone who actually knows The Satoshi Collective's vision realizes that #BitcoinCash $BCH is much much closer to The Satoshi Vision than $BTC as of 2021 is...

We need unlimited-sized blocks, high memory reqs (to thwart ASICs), reset block rewards...
Since $BCH only has 1 of those, there's room for a fork or two!

Also, requiring 64+ GB of RAM to mine a block would democratize mining fast. I already made a high-memory fork of #Bitcoin in 2019 that requires 128 GB haha. Never published. PoC
I substituted Proof of Work for randomness of high memory floating point precision in HUGE 128-bit numbers, trillions of them.

I really need to write a whitepaper and launch a fork of $BCH with it in it... Solve the environmental footprint problem, swapipng electricity for RAM.

Wanted to make a post for the (cow)boys ^_^.

UNLESS YOU WANT TO GAMBLE STAY TF OUT!

That said, here's some credible info for once.

Here are top 10 Alt coins (Iota = "control")

The pattern reveals all....

$ETH $USDT $XRP $LINK $BCH $LTC $BNB $ADA $EOS #Fintwit $BTC #Bitcoin
HOW TO READ THAT PICTURE:

#Tether's pumping up #bitcoin due to it being perfect for the scam, but they can't put all their eggs into one basket. They've bought some Alt Coins too, so those will follow the same pattern as Bitcoin.

Naturally, #Ethereum is 2nd in line.
So, the same pattern that reveals the #bitcoin scam; A Parabolic curve up combined with a continual Reduction in Trading Volume as measured in Trades; Also reveal which other coins are affected by the same scam.

Lined up side to side by Unaffected #Crypto; the pattern is obvious

My thoughts on the current Bitcoin Cash Bch dispute @Bitcoin_ABC @bitcoincashnode #BitcoinCash #Bch #IFP #commucurrency #Bitcoin
I have made plenty of comments on both reddit (u/UpstairsAdagio) and twitter about the current situation.

I feel it would be helpful to layout my full perspective here so as to leave no doubt about my intentions behind those posted comments
On the whole I am not entirely convinced that this IFP is a great idea.

I haven’t seen too much conversation about the current version (for reasons to be dealt with later) and the sell isn’t entirely welcoming

This is a fractal with a May 2019 re-accumulation range.

I believe the chart is self-explanatory

This is one of the highest probabilities you can get in trading when everything is lined-up in confluence. HTF, LTF & Cycles.

Looking at the Green H4 cluster itself, we can see they are identical as well.

Those who have not skipped MS teachings should also be able to see behind the curtain

Buying opportunity should come around apx around Sunday-Monday on a pullback of HL

Another place where #bitcoin tends to show up in litigation is in divorce, when married couples divvy up assets. In DeSouza v. DeSouza, a spouse was held to violate his fiduciary duty to his spouse by concealing #bitcoin. /1 ImageImageImageImage

A thread:

Non-monetary inputs are an important indicator of actual usage on a blockchain. #Litecoin's NMO% is 2% or lower. Many times 0%.

This chart below shows #LTC is 99% used for monetary trx's.

Others use it for sending weather, info, etc.
Know what you are investing in.
Over the past 24 hrs, there were 30,559 #Litecoin trx's worth $83,876,422. With a median trx value of $58.93 & median trx cost of $0.00081.

The last 24 hr non-monetary output % was 1%.

That means 99% of all #LTC trx's involve actual monetary trx's between wallets. Continued...
#Bitcoin has a NMO% of <2% over the past month as seen below.

This also shows that #BTC is sent for mainly monetary purposes. Just like #LTC.

#BSV consistently has a NMO% of 25-50% which means almost 1/2 of what is sent on the BSV blockchain is not worth anything. Continued...
