Interesting foot note to this: McCabe before becoming Dep Director of FBI led the National Security division of FBI. McGonigal was Section Chief of Counter Intelligence at one of THE two biggest FBI Field Offices. Prime targets for recruitment as spies.
Another interesting footnote is McCabe’s tangential connection to Michael Hayden & other leftwing intelligence community persons involved in disinformation, subversion & domestic intelligence operations. After leaving FBI, McCabe landed at George Mason Univ.
It just so happens that George Mason Univ is home to the Michael V. Hayden Center for Intelligence.
Some interesting names there as well. We know all about McCabe’s personal & financial ties to the Clintons- its interesting that former Clinton intelligence adviser & ex-CIA Deputy Director Mike Morrell is a fellow at Hayden Center @ George Mason Univ.
And it turns out another CIA Alumni with indirect ties to McCabe is at George Mason Univ as a Hayden Center fellow: David Preiss of Lawfareblog.
Who else works at Lawfare? Former FBI General Counsel James Baker, of Crossfire Hurticane, #spygate & #FISAabuse infamy.
And it turns out James Baker had a role that put him directly connected to Michael Hayden both as NSA director & as CIA director.
