- Every day, I feel the magnitude of our tragedy more and more, with every story you hear, you feel the enormous disappointment they have as #Syrians, as they telling you that they heard the last voices of their loved ones under the rubble and could not do anything for them.
- Today, a White Helmet friend was telling me his story, he lost his mother, brother, six nephews, and several other relatives.. "We dug with our bare hands for hours and saved many people, but we gradually stopped hearing the voices of survivors under the rubble.
- The scene was the same every time we reached a person under the rubble. You would see him embracing all his children and his wife, and died side by side. It was very cold, like the Day of Resurrection, due to the destruction and horror of the scene.
- Sometimes even body bags were unavailable, and people contented themselves with embracing their dead relatives, placing them next to each other, and covering them with a blanket. and then take them to the cemetery to say their final farewell.
- The last scene was the saddest. A man who survived under the rubble without injury went to his demolished house on top of his family, sat down, and then passed away. He died of oppression, grief, and pain.
- And today. we are dying a little bit more with every story we hear, every picture of a loved one we lost without saying goodbye. And the most... We are dying due to the world's neglect of our plight and their reconciliation with #Assad, who was killing us for years"
