I've received a few DMs lately asking about what makes me so bullish on πŸ₯· $INJ --as if having a substantial bag shouldn't be reason enough!?!πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Because so many have asked, I've decided to do something weird and make a short thread --not really my thing!😱

Firstly; I'm bullish on DEXs, which means I have a tremendous bias towards many #DeFi coins. I think crypto will be heavily regulated but as much as regulators can try, it won't be easy to regulate DeFi. Those who get it right will profit.

So what is Injective Protocol?

2/11 πŸ‘‡

$INJ is a DEX built on #Cosmos that allows users to trade a vast amount of assets, including:

⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️

😲 cryptocurrencies
😲 derivatives
😲 other financial products

Bet you weren't aware of these amazing facts, were you? Now let's get down to the real stuff!

I won't sit & tell you how great @HelixApp_ is and how it's starting to take a bite out of the other DEX's lunch, but really, it's an impressive piece of a #dApp that offers margin trading as a feature. I'm no fan of leverage, but 90% of people are, so who am I to judge?

What's the token used for?

$INJ is fuel for the ecosystem, where users can stake, earn, and use the token for various activities, such as trading fees, liquidity provision, governance, and more.

What are the tokenomics, and how can they incentivise price appreciation?

5/11 πŸ‘‡

$INJ has a max supply of 100 million tokens with 78% circulating. The token has a burn mechanism which periodically takes a portion of trading fees collected on the protocol & uses them to buy back tokens from the open market & burn them -making the token deflationary.

6/11 πŸ‘‡

To be specific, 50% of all trading fees paid in $INJ are burned, while the other 50% is distributed to network validators who secure the network through staking.

NB: important to note that the burn mechanism will remain in place until 10% of the supply has been burned.

It's my honest belief that Injective is one of the most attractive investment propositions in crypto. Not only is the tech there, but the project is backed by some big players, namely: Pantera Capital, Hashed & QCP Capital.

The financial backing makes me extra bullish.

8/11 πŸ‘‡

In Jan 2023, Injective launched a $150M ecosystem fund to boost DeFi adoption on Cosmos. The fund is backed by Pantera Capital, Kraken Ventures, Jump Crypto, Kucoin Ventures, Delphi Labs, IDG Capital & Gate Labs & is considered the largest consortium on #CosmosEcosystem.

9/11 πŸ‘‡

Why does this matter?

Unlike other projects, Injective don't have to sell tokens -or 2x supply- to fund development. They've the money to attract developers and potentially make #INJ the "go-to protocol" for DeFi on Cosmos, and that's exactly what I expect to happen!!

10/11 πŸ‘‡

Over time, $INJ has become the project I'm most bullish on and I expect its previous all-time high of $25 to be obliterated during the next bull run.

My prediction?

I think $50 is a given and +$100 likely, but I'm no oracle and neither a financial advisor, so we'll see!

11/11
