Chicken is NOT the "health" food many think it is.

Here's why:

"You are what you eat"

Goes 1 degree further when it comes to animal products...

Meaning:

As of September 2022:

99% of chickens in the US are raised in CAFOs.

CAFO stands for:

Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation

Does this look like a healthy environment?

There is nothing natural about 1000s of birds living in confined indoor environments.

In these conditions → sickness & disease are common.

Birds are fed GMO corn & soybeans and pumped full of antibiotics.

In 2022 alone → OVER 50 MILLION birds died from a bird flu outbreak.

Sadly, the majority of chickens are fed pesticide-covered GMO seeds and given loads of antibiotics & growth hormones.

Some studies have found that chicken meat can contain as many estrogenic compounds as a BIRTH CONTROL PILL.

That should concern you.

Birds raised in unnaturally confined conditions are STRESSED OUT.

Wouldn't you be?

Most chicken meat also contains Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids in a ratio of OVER 10 TO 1.

This is a recipe for inflammation.

It's also 7-10X more Omega-6 than most beef.

If you love eating chicken:

Be very wary of the labeling.

Seek out chicken & eggs that are "organic" & "pasture-raised."

I used to eat chicken every day.

When I stopped → I lost 40 pounds of fat.

I still LOVE my daily eggs, which are higher in Omega-3 and packed with essential vitamins & nutrients.

But I prioritize organic & pasture-raised eggs.

They are much easier to find than chicken meat.

TL;DR

Modern chicken isn't the "health" food many think.

The majority of US chickens live in CAFOs, which are extremely unhealthy environments.

"Healthy" chicken is hard to come by.

Healthier options include:

→Wild-caught seafood
→Pasture-Raised eggs
→100% grass-fed beef
