Chicken is NOT the "health" food many think it is.

Here's why:
"You are what you eat"

Goes 1 degree further when it comes to animal products...

Meaning:
As of September 2022:

99% of chickens in the US are raised in CAFOs.

CAFO stands for:

Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation

Does this look like a healthy environment?
There is nothing natural about 1000s of birds living in confined indoor environments.

In these conditions → sickness & disease are common.

Birds are fed GMO corn & soybeans and pumped full of antibiotics.

In 2022 alone → OVER 50 MILLION birds died from a bird flu outbreak.
Sadly, the majority of chickens are fed pesticide-covered GMO seeds and given loads of antibiotics & growth hormones.

Some studies have found that chicken meat can contain as many estrogenic compounds as a BIRTH CONTROL PILL.

That should concern you.
Birds raised in unnaturally confined conditions are STRESSED OUT.

Wouldn't you be?

Most chicken meat also contains Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids in a ratio of OVER 10 TO 1.

This is a recipe for inflammation.

It's also 7-10X more Omega-6 than most beef.
If you love eating chicken:

Be very wary of the labeling.

Seek out chicken & eggs that are "organic" & "pasture-raised."
I used to eat chicken every day.

When I stopped → I lost 40 pounds of fat.

I still LOVE my daily eggs, which are higher in Omega-3 and packed with essential vitamins & nutrients.

But I prioritize organic & pasture-raised eggs.

They are much easier to find than chicken meat.
TL;DR

Modern chicken isn't the "health" food many think.

The majority of US chickens live in CAFOs, which are extremely unhealthy environments.

"Healthy" chicken is hard to come by.

Healthier options include:

→Wild-caught seafood
→Pasture-Raised eggs
→100% grass-fed beef

Dr. Robert Lustig.

The scientist who’s spent 25 years exposing what really causes obesity.

His breakthrough? It's not so much about calories. It's about insulin.

Here are his top 6 unconventional lessons for fat loss and health (bookmark this): 🧵
1. Weight gain can be partly emotional.

You can eat and exercise the same but still gain weight due to stress...

Weight loss isn't always just "Eat less and move more".

Stress makes your cells burn less calories and it affects your brain. Here's how:
2. Sugar from fruit is not the same as sugar from junk food.

Fruit:

- Is full of vital nutrients
- Is low-calorie & filling so you normally won't overeat it
- Has fiber that reduces blood sugar spikes.

Bone Broth is the best drink on the planet for your gut health.

Big Pharma shill $60 probiotic pills and artificial meds that barely work...

While Bone Broth literally rebuilds your gut and even makes your skin younger.

Here are its benefits (and exactly how to have it): 🧵
1. Gelatin rebuilds your gut lining.

When you simmer bones, collagen breaks down into gelatin.

Gelatin forms a protective coating over your gut. It seals the mucosal lining so toxins stop leaking into your bloodstream.

Drink one cup a day for gut repair.
2. L-Glutamine fuels intestinal cells.

Your gut uses 30% of your body's total glutamine to function.

This amino acid feeds the rapidly dividing cells lining your intestines.

It strengthens the gut barrier and lowers inflammation.

Bone broth delivers it naturally.

Dr. Benjamin Bikman is a world-leading expert in insulin resistance and fat loss.

He just did a 2-hour podcast with Steven Bartlett.

It's hit about 1 Million views in 4 days.

Here are the top 10 lessons that go against everything mainstream health advice taught you 🧵
1. Insulin is massively underrated.

It controls what every cell does with energy.

From your brain to your bones, insulin dictates whether you burn or store fat.

When insulin is high, your body is in storage mode.

It literally cannot burn fat.
2. Calories matter less than you think.

Dr. Bikman explains that two meals with identical calories produce completely different results based on insulin response.

The low-carb meal increases metabolic rate.

The high-carb meal tanks it.

Same calories, opposite outcomes.
