Khwaja Muhammad Zubair was the grandson of Khwaja Muhammad Naqshband
who died on 4 zial-Qa da 1153 1740-41.
The building was constructed within a short period of two months.👇
There are two structures inside the Rauza Sharif complex-
a mosque and a tomb. The tomb of Khwaja Muhammad Zubair is constructed on a raised plinth approached by a flight of stairs.
The structure consists of a globular dome and four octagonal shaped minarets.👇
The dome is supported on a circular drum and is crowned by an inverted lotus with finial on top. The minaret is surmounted by a ribbed dome with finial on top and petaled decoration at its base. The structure has a pointed arch with niches on either side. 👇
The niches have multi-foliated arches inside a rectangular frame. The structure has been renovated and white washed.
The tomb is built of sirhindi bricks and lime mortar. The door is made of wood. The structure has been renovated and white-washed and the door has been painted green.
