@TomJumboGrumbo 1. ROMAN, ACE BOOGIE, CRABBY PATTY, KING PEPPY & KING GHIDORAH, the five dogs who were massacred over the weekend by the @NYCACC kill pound at taxpayer expense in the richest city in the world were all perfectly healthy adoptable dogs!

@TomJumboGrumbo @NYCACC 2. There are two reasons why the Shelter Animal Rescue Act (#SARA) - which would have saved their lives - has yet to pass:

1) Assemblywoman @DonnaLupardo
2) @SenatorHinchey

They’re the powerful Chairs of the Agriculture Committee in the New York State Assembly & Senate.

Last year, the kill pound lobby that opposes shelter accountability and is hostile to ‘inconvenient’ No Kill reforms gave both Chairs awards (and possibly money) and in return, both promised to block SARA from a vote in the committees they run: bit.ly/41UFyUO

Is it the awards, the money, or do these 2 politicians honestly believe the lies they’re being told by kill pound lobbyist Libby Post (pictured) who says that “rabid dogs, terminally ill dogs or dangerous dogs…are the only types of dogs shelters put down in this day and age”?

@TomJumboGrumbo @NYCACC @DonnaLupardo @SenatorHinchey 5. The kill pound lobby is basically telling legislators that New York is a No Kill state. It is an easily provable lie. Aside from some socialization & minor training issues, all five dogs killed in last weekend’s massacre at @NYCACC were all perfectly healthy, adoptable dogs.

Every time @NYCACC or any other NYS kill pound murders another healthy cat or dog, please tag these 2 Legislators on Twitter & Facebook.

And every time @NYCACC or any other NYS kill pound murders a healthy cat or dog, also send the name, picture or video of the victim to the two Committee Chairs and politely tell them to add #SARA to the Agriculture Committee agenda and allow the bill to come to a vote!

@TomJumboGrumbo @NYCACC @DonnaLupardo @SenatorHinchey 8. Please stand up for those who have no voice & no legal rights. Show Assemblywoman Lupardo & Senator Hinchey the faces of the victims, & respectfully tell them to do the right thing! If they won’t cosponsor #SARA, then at least allow it to come to a vote of their committees.
