1/Thread with data that I could find about immigration and race in France. I am obviously not an expert and don't speak French so if you think I am not presenting the full picture please correct me, especially if you are French.

2/ France was about 8.8% muslim in 2016: pewresearch.org/religion/2017/…

3/ In a medium migration scenario this is expected to grow to 17.4% in 2050.

4/ It is illegal for the govt to collect information on ancestry, but it is estimated that France is about 85% white. 10% north African, 3.3% black and 1.7% Asian. worldatlas.com/articles/what-…

5/ This poll gives a slightly lower estimate that only 70-75 percent of France is white.

6/ However demographics for the youngest are different. It was estimated that nearly 40% of French newborns were tested for sickle cell anemia in 2016, which is done if both parents have ancestry from parts of the world described below. thosewhocansee.blogspot.com/2022/09/whos-r…

7/ In 2019 nearly 20% of baby names given in France were muslim:

8/ It is estimated that if immigration increases white could become a minority by the end of the century.

9/ It seems clear that Muslims are overrepresented in the French prison population, though we don't know to what extent. It is commonly stated that they make up 70% of the prison population but this seems to high. Better estimates range from 30 to 50 percent. adamsmith.org/blog/are-70-of…

10/ Macron claimed that half of criminals in Paris were committed by foreigners. This seems to be true, but this newspaper blames this on police discrimination. lemonde.fr/en/les-decodeu…

11/ This article finds that foreigners are overrepresented in those incarcerated but again blames it on bias in the legal system. I am unable to find any data that looks directly at race and crime in France. archive.is/nf0BQ

12/ Looking at the crime rate overall it is higher than it was in the mid 20th century, but doesn't seem to have increased much since the 80s: archive.is/jDBCu

13/ Looking at the economic situation, men from Turkey, Africa and the Maghreb make less than French born men and this is true even among the French born. wol.iza.org/articles/racia…

14/ They are also more likely to be unemployed: archive.is/9dWkq

15/ Ryan Faulk put together an estimate of the fiscal impact of blacks and muslims here. I understand these analyses are controversial so keep that in mind. archive.org/details/youtub…

16/ When it comes to Arab opinion polls, most think that their faith is viewed negatively in France: arabnews.com/node/1770751/w…

17/ 45% of French Muslims say that they want the destruction of Israel and a similar number support the 10/7 attacks. jns.org/frances-skyroc…

18/ 42% of French Muslims support Shariah over local laws. This is higher for young people.

19/ After the Charlie Hebdo attacks 25% of French Muslims refused to condemn the terrorist attacks and 41% refused to participated in a moment of silence for the victims: breitbart.com/europe/2020/09…

20/ Muslims make up a small percent of the electorate in France but they seem to vote overwhelmingly for socialist candidates: brookings.edu/articles/is-th…

21/ Origins of immigration over time: migrationpolicy.org/article/france…

22/ Most French believe that immigration makes the country stronger.

23/ However other polling shows that French oppose non European immigration: rmx.news/france/64-of-f…

24/ Other polling shows that 60% of French believe that the Great Replacement will happen in France: thosewhocansee.blogspot.com/2022/09/whos-r…

15/ French also consistently don't seem very concerned about immigration:

26/ It is hard to find data on interpersonal relationships between natives and immigrants, but significant number of Parisians would not date someone of a different race:

27/ Another argument against immigration is terrorism. There have been a couple major Islamic terrorist attacks in France in the past few years:
2015 Charlie Hebdo Attack: 12 killed
2015 Paris attack: 131 killed
2016 Nice Truck attack: 86 killed

28/ In the case of Paris there may have been explicit racial motive:

29/ Another issue is riots. In 2005 there were major riots after two teens were electrocuted after hiding from the police in a power plant. These riots killed three people.

30/ In 2023 there were major riots after an Algerian teen was shot. These riots killed two people, and cost 650 million Euros.

31/ A common justification for immigration is dominance in sports. However the team was beaten by the mostly Spanish Spain team today:

Overall it is hard to see how non European immigration is good for France. @Steve_Sailer @ScottMGreer @FrankDeScushin @HbdNrx @pegobry_en @phl43
