In this role, FMIC leads the IC’s efforts to identify and assess foreign malign influence and interference in U.S. elections."

@DNIGabbard In August of 2025, DNI Gabbard announced the launch of ODNI 2.0., a restructuring of the ODNI that cut some 500 jobs and aimed to increase efficiency and eliminate redundancies.

The FMIC was selected for dissolution.

The FMIC had either created or been subverted by weaponized intelligence.

The search warrant specifically cites violations of Title 52, United States Code, §§ 20701 and 20511.

In the meantime, it's worth considerately pondering what sort of thing, what sort of intelligence, would draw the personal oversight and the presence of the Director of National Intelligence to an FBI search warrant operation in Fulton County, Georgia.

@DNIGabbard Also on scene for the execution of the search warrant was FBI Deputy Director @andrewbailey , the former attorney general of the state of Missouri.

In total, DOJ has filed lawsuits against 18 states and one county for withholding voter data.

That one county is Fulton County.

I think there are only a couple of possibilities.

1) It's a photo op. A stunt of some sort.

2) Because she wanted to personally be there as evidence was secured.

We can easily dismiss almost entirely option 1), as Tulsi didn't pose for pics, brief the press, put out a statement, or in any way overtly make her presence known to the public. The few images we have of her come off as photographers happening to spot her rather than her insisting upon being noticed.

So that leaves option 2), and if that is the case, then it would not be curiosity that brought her there—it would be confirmation.

The desire to confirm with her own eyes the intelligence she was coordinating between her office and other IC stakeholders. The need to see the expected evidence secured and engage with the team securing it.
