In one post he reacted to Marco Rubio placing Ashes on his head on Ash Wednesday March 5, 2025 as a holy war, framed it as Gaza fighting a “battle of the Quran against the Cross.” 3/
Nael was lauded on other social media channels as combatant. For example, this Facebook post lauds him as a fighter and mujahideen and that the “Jihad arena will miss you.” This was posted on the day of his death May 28, 2025. 4/
