2. The #TPP will allow corporations to sue government in secret tribunals where corporate lawyers would act as judges in some cases and represent corporations and/or governments in another

3. Under #ISDS, countries have been sued over plain packaging laws, for protecting environment, for increasing minimum wage, for demanding tax returns and for introducing affirmative action policies

4. The #TPP will extend monopolies of big pharmaceutical companies over drug production and therefore our lives

5. The #TPP will promote privatisation of public services like healthcare that women rely on and makes it harder to reverse it

6. The #TPP is basically developed countries asking developing countries to kick away the ladder to development

7. #TPP will would greatly restrict TPP governments’ ability to regulate, for example to ban a substance that is newly found to be dangerous to health or the environment

8. #TPP will push down workers wages everywhere while ensuring that cheaper wages paid to women workers are the source of corporations’ competitive advantage

9. The #TPP will violate national sovereignty and democracy by imposing permanent boundary on government policy-making at national and local level

10. This means simply that #TPP will benefit corporations and not ordinary people. #Canada step up by #makingtraderealforpeople. We urge you #StopTPP as it trades away #humanrights
