HOW TO MAKE YOUR MAKEUP LAST IN THIS SUMMER HEAT 😓💕

I ditched primer, I layer my moisturizer instead because that means I can use more powder. But if you want a long lasting matte primer, BECCA Ever Matte is great.

Instead of primer, I spray my face with setting spray for the summer. I recommend @UrbanDecay All Nighter, @MEHRONmakeupNYC Barrier Spray (intense theatre makeup) or @SKINDINAVIA Bridal Spray.

My most oily areas are my nose and eyebrows. Products moves a lot. I apply either @NyxCosmetics Glitter Primer or @fentybeauty Eye Primer on those areas for longevity. (You can also use this for smiles lines & if you wear glasses)

Once those “primers” are applied, I color correct like normal. Then I set my entire face with @Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder on a brush. This acts like I’m setting my primer & color corrector - Which means I use WAY less Foundation & my oil is more controlled.

For foundation, I use @Maybelline Superstay because it lasts long & they just extended the shade range. I apply it on the back of my hand and SPRAY the foundation with setting spray. You can spray you beauty blender with setting spray too.

The key is too use as little liquid products as possible. Grab that beauty blender & blend it get rid of excess. And blend for a LONG TIME.

After you finished using your liquids & cream, it’s time to set. I use a VERRRRY small amount of @Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder on a beauty blender and set my t-zone. I’ll add a little of Sacha Buttercup Powder because it’s more dry & yellow

I bake with powder btw ^ I’ll also use a piece of tissue paper over my face to get rid of excess product.

Once I’m done I’ll spray my face with setting spray. And go OVER it with my sponge to press in that spray. Voila ✨ Make sure to grab any blotting sheets or powder to blot throughout the day!

Here’s my order: Setting Spray > powder > foundation > powder > setting spray
