From the FISA App: "The FBI believes that the Russian Government's efforts are being coordinated with (Carter) Page."
If there is no evidence of collusion currently, there was no evidence of collusion when the FBI made this statement.
The FISA app cites the media's speculation - which was wholly unsubstantiated and based on zero evidence - about why Trump might be friendly to Russia.
FBI/DOJ telling the FISA court that Source 1 (Christopher Steele) did not "directly provide" information to reporter Isikoff.
It turns out that this was 100% false. Steele was the source.
They lied to the FISA court.
Two things here from the 6/2017 FISA renewal app:
1) Steele "has been compensated [REDACTED] by the FBI." How much was he paid?
2) In reference to the FBI's termination of Steele as a source, they continue to neglect that he lied to them about his disclosures to the press.
6/2017: The FBI explains it cut Steele loose because he "released the reporting" to a news organization in October, 2016.
However, as the Nunes memo shows, the DOJ knew Steele was out to get Trump in September of 2016.
Also: the FBI NEVER verified whether the Steele information went to the DNC's lawyers or if it went to the DNC or Hillary. (They only said it was likely, which amounts to speculation.)
They kept themselves in the dark so they wouldn't have to reveal this info to the court.
The FISA app also mentions a letter Page wrote to Coney denying the allegations made by Isikoff (through Steele).
Strzok used this as a pretext to interview Page.
Were Carter Page's supposed statutory criminal violations listed for the court - and are they now redacted?
Looks like it.
June, 2017: FBI tells the FISA Judge that Page's activities "are ongoing" and preclude the conclusion that "all such information has been obtained and collected can be ended"
Page was doing nothing at this point. Another lie to the court.
The 6/2017 FISA app was signed by McCabe and Rosenstein - immediately after Mueller was appointed.
Carter Page was no longer really "under investigation."
Page and the warrant were a pretext to surveille the rest of Team Trump.
Finally, by June, 2017 it's obvious Carter Page isn't a Russian agent
But FISA app is extended another 90 days to coincide with Mueller appointment
This would allow Mueller to use FISA surveillance to prosecute the Trump team for matters unrelated to purpose of surveillance
