part 3/4 - #4partRand @RandPaul consistently advocates for Russia's interests over US values and interests. Why?
In Part 3, we see that Rand Paul loves the lavish oligarch life, spends campaign donations on himself, and plays with the rich.
Part 3 - Rand Paul as aspiring oligarch
Many feel the US is already becoming like Russia in their corruption, inequality, and limited freedom and opportunity. A few, the oligarchs, control the wealth, and most people are kept poor. This is why Rand Paul's behavior is an issue.
Rand Paul's lavish spending and European trips used donations intended for the @GOP - $11,043 on restaurants in Italy and Malta, $4,492 on limousines in Rome, $1,904 at a luxury Athens hotel - a lavish lifestyle on donors’ dimes. ht @CREWcrew@McClatchyDCmcclatchydc.com/news/politics-…
@RandPaul sent out this snapchat, titling it "Lessons from Dan Bilzerian." Here he's playing Liar’s Poker with a (thick!) stack of $100 bills against "Playboy King" Dan Bilzerian @WealthyEminence. It does seem Rand Paul aspires to the life of an oligarch. dailycaller.com/2015/04/24/ran…
Here's the video of Rand Paul taking "Lessons from Dan Bilzerian":
@jennycohn1 cc @JoshData Unbelievable that we repeatedly don’t get this right, & so many want us not to get this right. Is there, or do we need to create, a public resource where we can gather and curate a set of best practices, good laws/regs, equipment, audit procedures, fair districting?
@jennycohn1@JoshData A place where honest officials and citizens can find specific solutions to advocate for, incl providers of secure voting solutions. There’s vote.org , methods & approaches for drawing fair boundaries, GitHub approach to sharing legal code...
@jennycohn1@JoshData There’s heavy marketing behind corruptible electronic voting machine$. Much less money to be made from handmarked paper ballots, optical scanners and risk-limiting audits. We have to shift the equilibrium to counter marketing $. A unified trusted source of information would help.
part 4/4 - #4partRand @RandPaul consistently advocates for Russia's interests over US values and interests. Why?
In Part 4, we look at how Paul's behavior has become even more aggressively pro-Russia. Has he become a #PutinPuppet?

Rand Paul objected to a resolution Jul 2018 to protect US elections from Russian interference, saying “it’s a “waste of time” to hold Putin accountable. “They’re going to interfere with our elections and we also do the same.” @cnn@thehillthehill.com/homenews/sunda…
part 2/4 - #4partRand @RandPaul consistently advocates for Russia's interests over US values and interests. Why?
In Part 2, Paul appoints Dimitri Simes as for pol advisor, who visits Putin, introduces Kislyak to Trump orbit. McCain vs Paul.
Part 2 - Rand Paul & Dimitri Simes
McConnell puts Rand on SenForRelCmte. Rand names Dimitri Simes foreign policy advisor in '14. Simes speaks at a Kremlin forum, supports Putin on Syria, Putin calls Simes his “American friend and colleague.” @alanagoodmanfreebeacon.com/politics/rand-…
Dimitri Simes is the person who first introduces Jared Kushner to Sergei Kislyak in an Apr16 event SIMES HAS ARRANGED so Trump can give a speech. @RyanLizza writes that the meeting is seen as a green light for Russia to further interfere with the election. newyorker.com/news/ryan-lizz…
part 1/4 - #4partRand @RandPaul consistently advocates for Russia's interests over US values and interests. Why?
In Part 1, the first RUSSIAN INFO ATTACK on a US Election occurs in the presidential race of 2008. #PutinPuppet test?
tl;dr -
Ron Paul's US pres campaign 2008 was a trial run for RUSSIAN ELECTION ATTACK. Rand Paul is elected '12. McConnell puts Rand on ForRelCmte. He appoints pro-Kremlin Dimitri Simes, who in Apr'16 first introduces Kushner and Trump to Kislyak. Rand behaves like an oligarch wannabe.
Part 1 - the Paul elections
Rand Paul worked on his father’s 1988 presidential campaign as the Libertarian candidate. Ron received less than 1% of the vote. They both know what a failed campaign looks like. npr.org/sections/itsal…
