Mnangagwa was Vice President as well as Justice Minister, that was illegal. Now Chiwenga is Vice President as well as Defence Minister. That's still unconstitutional. Part 2, Section 103 of our constitution says a VP cant hold ANY OTHER public office, directly or indirectly.

Am not sure if ED doesn't know this is illegal, but, nonetheless, Chiwenga got the Defence ministry so that he still controls the army. Our constitution has loopholes here. While its the president ONLY who deploys the army, the commander reports to the minister not President.

Back to our story, some weeks after Chiwenga became VP, ED fired 11 Police bosses. He immediately visited Mozambique. While away, Chiwenga allegedly fired 21 more bringing the total to 32. As soon as ED returned, the 21 got reinstated & cracks between the 2 began widening.

Surprisingly up to today no one has been arrested. 2 suspects have since been released after it emerged they are mere street kids. But from that day ED and Chiwenga started having separate rallies. ED would address 1 town while Chiwenga would address another till elections.

Anyone who bothered to care has realised that the relationship between ED & Chiwenga has deteriorated. So ED wanted elections to be free, fair & credible, hoping he would win & eventually halt all pressure he's getting from Chiwenga since it's Chiwenga who got him into power.

If ED wanted to rig from the word go. He wouldnt invite Britain, US, EU, UN & every willing international media house. Mugabe would simply invite SADC & AU who he was certain would never declare an election rigged. In Kenya AU said election CREDIBLE, but a judge said RIGGED.

Yesterday, #Chamisa had a press conference. Just before the beginning, armed riot police besieged Bronte Hotel and dispersed journalists & observers present. ED heard about it and sent SK Moyo to rush there & disperse all policemen. This would tell the world how bad Zim is.
