All those still blaming Diwali for Delhi's air quality, let me give you some perspective.

This past fortnight an area of 17,900 sqmi or 12 times the size of Delhi, has been CONTINUOUSLY on fire RIGHT NEXT to Delhi. 35 MILLION TONS of stubble has been burnt. Clear hai?

My views:
You know what is REALLY scary? That we are outraging only because Delhi is being affected by stubble burning.

98 million tonnes of stubble is burnt every year ALL OVER India, ALL YEAR round. UP 22%, Punjab 21%, Haryana 9%, AP 5%, WB 5%, TN 3%, Guj 4%.

WHEN WILL MILORDS WAKE UP?
Every year India burns 98 MT of stubble, releasing 149 MT CO₂ [T1: *sqkm; 25,900; 17 times]

CO₂ emission from ALL Indian transport: 270 MT
CO₂ emission from ALL Indian stubble-burning: 149 MT

The latter is TOTALLY avoidable. But vote-bank > your life. Situation right now 👇

Hope PM @narendramodi's laudable Panchamrit - of 500 GW by 2030 - majorly includes Nuclear. A single nuclear plant powers 700,000 homes while emitting less CO₂ than a hybrid car.

Climate Change is REAL. But activism MUST be rescued from the talons of the IDIOTIC Left. #COP26
(Nuclear plants) & Nuclear power as share of total power consumed:

France (58): 71.7%
Sweden (8): 40.3%
Switzerland (5): 37.7%
USA (99): 19.3%
Russia (37): 17.9%
UK (15): 17.7%
China (46): 4.2%

India (22): 3.0%.

3.0% is pitiful. We MUST make it 30% by 2030, @narendramodi.
Power generation is the SINGLE LARGEST contributor (~30%) to global emissions.

Nuclear power as share of total power consumed:
France: 71.7%
India: 3.0%

Carbon footprint as share of total world footprint:
France: 1% (292 MMT)
India: 7% (2076 MMT)

It's a NO CONTEST. #COP26

With respect sir, such language is unacceptable. Is this a threat? Later on in the thread you warn @BharadwajSpeaks again by writing: "Do nothing to disturb peace and tranquility in the country."

He has stated historical facts, with references. Do historical facts scare you?
The tragedy of our nation. This man should have been inducted in the Education Ministry years ago. Instead he is hounded and threatened by those, Right or Left, who fear the past.

The fools don't understand: Nations that fear their past fear their future.
WTF. @BharadwajSpeaks was neither spreading hatred against the Mizos, nor was he creating disaffection. The thread is FACTUAL and carries historical citations.

It was a mistake to be polite to this man. He is drunk on allusions of power and past glory.
