I built trybible.com yesterday during the #24hrstartup event. I have to say that I had a blast, and I also learned a lot about myself. A smallish thread 👇
First of all, live-streaming was really fun! It wasn’t distracting, it was actually enhancing. It was neat to be “on stage” doing the thing you do best.
Well, the thing you THINK you do best. I actually realized how much more I need to learn about JavaScript and the tooling that I use to make products. Being under the clock made me realize how much time I waste Googling how to do simple things.
So, in the future you can definitely expect more live-streaming, and you can expect me to be learning more about web development. I want to spend more time building than Googling.

After three years of being an Indiehacker (solo founder), a husband, and a father of 3 young kids, I finally have dialed in on a routine that works consistently for the whole family.
I find it highly productive. It reduces a lot of friction (mainly around communication).
🧵
Every couple of months my wife and I would try something different with our schedules.
They were generally centered around when I got work done, and when she got work done.
When you've got 3 young kids (5, 3, and 1), you have to schedule work or it won't happen.
Here's the schedule:
(AM)
5: Wake, Most Important Task
7/8: Kids wake, I make breakfast. Wife works.
10: I get ready for the day, start work.
(PM)
3: Off work. Check in / clean.
4/5: Make/eat dinner.
8: Bed time for older kids.
10: Bed.
