'... the information was gathered from two former Tory MPs - Sir Victor Raikes and Anthony Courtney.'
So let's take a closer look at these two and their friends from the loony-right Monday Club ... bbc.com/news/uk-345977…
Raikes was a seriously (and I mean seriously) right-wing politician with strong links to Rhodesia. He was also mentioned in Playland by @anthonydaly01 and an executive member of the Monday Club.
https://t.co/doTaruRkYrscepticpeg.wordpress.com/2018/03/21/pla…
Anthony Tosswill (sic) Courtney, a sailor and intelligence agent, became MP for Harrow East in early 1959 after Ian Harvey was caught in flagrante delicto with a guardsman in St. James's Park. His main claim to fame was a KGB campaign against him. nytimes.com/1988/01/27/obi…
Raikes and Courtney hail from the hard right and leave Nigel Farage looking like Arthur Scargill, so the two who compiled the files given to Geoffrey Dickens and later to John Mann can hardly be accused of staging a leftist plot.
Correction:
Raikes was not mentioned in Playland. It was his friend John Gouriet, shown in the first tweet in this thread.
More on him later ...
Geoffrey Dickens rightly accused Sir Peter Hayman of being a paedophile in the Commons. In 1984, Dickens gave a second dossier to EGH patron Leon Brittan. These files went missing and could not even be located by Witless Wanless.
John Gouriet, a British army officer, was a close associate of Raikes. In 1975, he was co-founder of the ultra-right National Association for Freedom (NAFF) together with Viscount De L'Isle, Norris McWhirter and Ross McWhirter, which became The Freedom Association in 1978.
According to his obituary, Gouriet suddenly left NAFF in June 1978, the year it was renamed, having fallen out with its chairman, Viscount de Lisle. NAFF made a name for itself intervening in industrial disputes. telegraph.co.uk/news/obituarie…
One such industrial dispute was the Grunwick strike, with a stand-off between a NAFF-backed employer, a film processing laboratory, on the one hand and union-backed workers on the other. The dispute was prolonged and violent, with more than 550 arrests.

Peters resurfaced in 1989 as a ringleader in Operation Hedgerow. The ring had connections to 'highly placed civil servants and well-known public figures'. Peters was convicted to 8 years in prison.
Colin Peters is alleged to have been a visitor to Elm Guest House, together with Cyril Smith and others, but he strenuously denies this in an email just like I strenuously deny being the Princess of Kazakhstan.
It is ironic that video screens were used for the first time at Peters trial in 1988, allowing only the judge to see the child victims in person, given the fact that Colin Peters used camera equipment to make porn films of the boys he abused.
So what relevance does Colin Peters have to Grunwick or, indeed what links him to Gouriet? Well, both Peters and Gouriet had strong ties to Whitehall where Gouriet was seen at parties (Playland by Anthony Daly) and Peters worked for Grunwick in a VAT dispute.
I have frequently commented on links between far-right nutcases from the Monday Club and its associates and South Africa and white supremacy (Govier, Laud, Greer ...), so it came as no surprise to find this article about a stash of silver and Kruggerrands at Grunwick:
John Gorst MP was also secretary of the Local Radio Association, a pressure group, in which he worked closely together with Cleveland MP Wilfried Proudfoot and others links to private radio stations, mainly in the north such as Radio 270 and Radio Pennine.
https://t.co/A2NYWOj1Nutelegraph.co.uk/news/obituarie…
Barbara Hewson's uncle Richard Denby was director of Pennine Radio, funded by Oyston, a close friend and business associates of Stuart Hall who Hewson defended in the press. Babsy's cousin Jonathan, brought up by uncle Richard, was best friend of 270 broadcaster Harvey Proctor.
On a highly topical note, Sir Roger Gale MP has been invited to sit on the Queen's privy in the New Year's Honours list. Pundits are largely in agreement that this is nothing short of a bribe by Theresa May to twist his arm in the Brexit debate. www-standard-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.standa…
From 1964 to 1965, Gale worked as a disc-jockey for Radio Caroline. From late 1965 to 1967, he helped set up and run Radio 270, 'Voice of the North', together with a number of Yorkshire businessmen, including Proudfoot, who employed Proctor friend Christine Hamilton as secretary.
There's trouble down at mill, lad!:
In this recording of the station's launch, there is an announcement of a trade union leader criticising the purchase of foreign cloth (ca. 1'20"). Now who would profit more from that than the Denby clan of mill owners? m.mixcloud.com/mickcapewell5/…
Another man on board Hewson's uncle's Radio Pennine from the early days was ivory tinkler John Biggs, a man awarded an MBE for his work with the Sea Cadets only to be convicted later of 9 cases of indecent assault.
https://t.co/nMwDAteaRt…orkshirepost-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.yorksh…
Over at Harvey Proctor's Radio 270, one paedophile called Alan Fossey went under a number of names. At 270 he was Ross Randell and at Northsea International he was Alan West. Broadcasting off the coast of Israel he was Rob Scott.
Whatever the name, he was a vile paedophile!
The Pennine Radio music gene seems to have been passed on to Richard Denby's nephew, the hotelier, convicted criminal and Powell aide Jonathan Denby, cousin of Barbara Hewson, given his links to the music business.

But let's return to John Gorst MP for a moment:
Why did John Gorst champion the case of Captain Simon Hayward, a British cannabis smuggler apprehended in Sweden, even going as far as to visit him in Uppsala jail?
The plot thickens:
The Hayward story has all the elements of a spy thriller - South Africa, the Troubles, drugs ... with John Gorst in the thick of it!
https://t.co/BBRaXjn8u9thelocal.se/discuss/index.…
There is much more to Hayward's story than meets the eye. It certainly incensed Margaret Thatcher and ties in with the loyalist machinations in Northern Ireland surrounding such characters as Enoch Powell et al.
https://t.co/qs6bjDv2Kfapi.parliament.uk/historic-hansa…
An interesting aside:
Capt. Hayward's book 'Under fire' with a foreword by John Gorst MP shares its title with one by Contragate's Oliver North, a name mentioned in correspondence between Bee Carthew and Enoch Powell concerning Jonathan Denby, a man with shipping links to Iran.
In 1967, Harvey Proctor gave a series of talks on 270, interviewing Biggs-Davison and Patrick Wall, Monday Club chairmen either side of Raikes, who provided Dickens with his second dossier.
Biggs: 'A voice of freedom will have been silenced when Radio 270 goes off the air'.
Proctor and Denby, close life-long friends since their time at York, were both aides to Enoch Powell.
It is highly likely they were among the 200 or so supporters behind Radio Enoch, a station which openly flaunted its illegality.
Another man in on the ground floor at Richard Denby's Radio Pennine was Bradford-born MP for Great Grimsby, Austin Mitchell.
Mitchell was a founding member and patron of the McKenzie Friends public advocacy organisation.
https://t.co/TwGvCd6wj8
Back to Grunwick:
Scotland Yard admitted using Grunwick for some of their crime photos after a striker described a car blown up by the IRA in Connaught Sq. Ironically, the bomb was intended for John Gorst MP, factotum of Grunwick owner George Ward.
Radio 270's Austin Mitchell has strong links to another McKenzie Friends member. He and the recently convicted Sabine McNeill, together with Lord Sudeley, were founding members of the Forum for Stable Currencies in 1988 which held meeting in the Lords.
https://t.co/zhJnxlndHuforumnews.wordpress.com/2008/04/
Lord Sudeley links to a couple of weird institutions such as the Monarchist League and the Manorial Society. 270's Biggs-Davison was on the League's Council of Honour. Sudeley was a Monday Club member and chaired Western Goals meetings in Westminster.

Correction: 1998
Meanwhile up north, any self-respecting radio station had to boast of links to Jimmy Savile, and Sir Richard Denby's Radio Pennine was no exception (oh, and just in case I haven't said it before, Dick Denby was the uncle of Barbara Hewson).
Alongside Hewson uncle Richard Denby and Austin Mitchell MP, another founder member at Radio Pennine was Terry Bate. Terry later became a governor of Christ's Hospital School, a 'school like no other' which spawned as many paedophiles as Radio Pennine.
Steve Merike, Pennine's first presenter on Sept. 16, 1975, was paired with Ray Teret on another station on Dec. 24, 1974. Teret was a former chauffeur of Jimmy Savile who 'followed him like a shadow', and appeared with him on BBC’s ‘Top of the Pops‘. bbc.com/news/uk-304314…
In his book 'Credible and True', a misnomer if ever I heard one, Harvey Proctor named John Biggs-Davison as one of his closest friends. Biggs-Davison was a right-wing Tory, member of the Monday Club and Powell friend, although earlier he had been a member of the Communist Party.
Biggs-Davison's wife Pamela was a code breaker at Bletchley Park, Hut 7, first working on the German Enigma and then deciphering Japanese naval codes. Aptly, her cover story was that she was a radio engineer. She later trained to become a professional opera singer.
Nearby Hut D(6) at Bletchley Park housed one Kathleen Joan Denby, mother of the delectable Barbara Hewson, cousin of Proctor's best mate, and brother of Pennine Radio's Sir Richard Denby.
https://t.co/Lj8G3C8Klpscotsman.com/news/obituarie…
But let's return to Grunwick for a moment:
Another supporter of Grunwick management who drummed up scabs to cross the picket lines was Jane Birdwood, a right-wing extremist and anti-Semite who even stood for the BNP in a General Election.
https://t.co/gWXAxAiqEeweb.archive.org/web/2004121203…
Jane Birdwood was a close friend of Enoch Powell and his two camp aides Harvey Proctor and Jonathan Denby. In fact, her address at 100, Philbeach Gardens was the correspondence address for the far-right Radio Enoch. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Eno…
Birdwood's home at Philbeach Gardens was the headquarters of a number of organisations on the 'lunatic right', including the Young National Front's 'Bulldog', an anti-immigration newspaper and the British Gazette campaigning against union tyranny.
No. 99, next door, was an interesting place, too: It was the lodgings of James Baigrie, under siege in 1985 for 44 hours in his builder's van, an event reminiscent of Jonathan Denby's own run-in with the Police a year later.
Ain't it interesting how press reports about the Elm Guest House child brothel were airbrushed and sanitised so that the public would swallow the official line that it was only a gay adult venue hook, line and sinker!
A short thread ...
Apart from the two older children who were taken into care immediately after the raid by Richmond Police, there is no mention in the subsequent official crafted story of the presence of a
'2 OR 3 YEAR OLD BOY IN A NAPPY', according to the same PC who identified the above boys.
But it does not stop there!
Along with his details of the two boys, the very same PC also references a man in a 'EXECUTIONER'S MASK' who had a 'BUTTOCK SMACKING PADDLE'.
How Proctoresque!
I wonder why this evidence was omitted in the sanitised version spoonfed to the public?
Now that's interesting: the PR agency commissioned by Philip Schofield to salvage his reputation was Phil Hall Associates, the same agent called in to salvage the reputation of Cliff Richard (sexual assault claims and a visitor to Elm Guest House). dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/arti…
Now would that be Phill Hall, the former editor of the News of the World who claims to have heard of what Jimmy Savile was up to ... channel4.com/news/jimmy-sav…
Or would it be the Phil Hall who was the go-to guy for the McCanns when they became arguidos? theguardian.com/media/2007/sep…
Ah, so Harvey 'Spanker' Proctor, that paragon of virtue, wishes to know more details about the resignation of Michael Lockwood of the IOPC.
Perhaps we can help him ... @kharveyproctor dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…
Well, it was a so-called 'historic' case of sex with a minor, something I am sure you, Harvey Proctor, are more than familiar with.
I'm sure the victims feel like it was just yesterday and not something 'historic'! dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…
And, it is said to have happened in the Eighties, a decade in which you were very active on the rent boy scene.
Lady Susan Hussey was sacked for racism yesterday to make it look as if the problem within the Royal household were confined to just one bad apple.
But Hussey is from a overprivileged and utterly pampered family that's worth taking a closer look at.
Susan Hussey, herself a member of the Waldegrave family which spawned William, the Tory Minister, was married to Marmaduke Yes-That's-His-Real-Name Hussey who, despite many failures in Fleet Street, fell up the stairs to become Chairman of the Board of Governors at the BBC.
Susan Hussey's daughter Katherine followed her potty Woman-Of-The-Bedchamber mother into Royal service as official companion to Queen Camille.
Don't forget that @inquiryCSA is aware of two interviews given by the Dover official Solanki to two different journalists. Both confirm that the senior politician in the video seized from Russell Tricker was none other than Leon Brittan. Tricker didn't deny being the courier!
@InquiryCSA were passed a recording of an interview Mr. Solanki gave to the one journalist. That interview was before to IICSA via the IPCC-IOPC/MPS.
A little later, Solanki gave a second interview to an accredited journalist. This journalist wished to share this with @InquiryCSA and they were told accordingly. This interview additionally contained the information that Leon Brittan appeared in the video with a little boy.
