(1/5) The gun control lobby likes to cite that 97 percent of Americans support so-called universal background checks. That is not accurate. Even in the most liberal anti-gun states, the measures did not come close to garnering 97 percent of the vote.
(2/5) In some instances, they failed to get a majority of the vote or barely passed. The following ballot initiatives on so-called universal background checks show the statewide support in the context of how much money gun control advocates spent versus those opposed to it.
(3/5) In #WashingtonState, anti-gun activists spent almost $11.3 million pushing so-called universal background checks. That initiative, I-594, passed with 59.27 percent of the vote. In contrast, opponents spent $602,980, almost $10.7 million less.

(4/5) In #Nevada, anti-gun activists spent more than $19.8 million pushing so-called universal background checks. That initiative, Question 1, passed with 50.45 percent of the vote. In contrast, opponents spent $6.7 million, almost $13.2 million less.

(5/5) In #Maine, anti-gun activists spent more than $7.3 million pushing so-called universal background checks. That initiative, Question 3, failed, receiving only 48.20 percent of the vote – even though they spent $6.1 million more than the opposition.

The @NRA has a question for President Biden...

Are you aware of all the gun control that ALREADY exists in Boulder?

We'll list it for you.

🚫"Universal" Background Checks
🚫Magazine Bans
🚫Red Flag Laws
🚫A prohibition against carrying a concealed weapon

Wait, there's more⬇️
🚫Mandatory firearm storage
🚫A prohibition against possession of a loaded firearm
🚫A prohibition against deadly weapons in public buildings
🚫Firearm discharge prohibition

Still more⬇️
🚫A prohibition against “aim[img] a loaded or unloaded firearm ... at another person”
🚫A prohibition against “display[ing] or flourish[ing] a deadly weapon in a manner calculated to alarm another person”

And more. So stop blaming the @NRA for the actions of criminals.

NRA VICTORY: Arkansas Gov. @AsaHutchinson signs NRA-backed STAND YOUR GROUND legislation into law!
Law-abiding citizens will no longer be required by law to retreat before using force to defend themselves. Further, victims of violent crime who respond with defensive force while protecting themselves should not have to face the additional threat of criminal/civil prosecution.
NRA would like to thank House and Senate members who supported this measure, especially bill sponsors, Rep. Aaron Pilkington (@pilkingtonforar), and Sen. @Bob_Ballinger.

@realDonaldTrump
✅ Transforming the federal judiciary by nominating pro-Second Amendment judges
✅ Protected our right to self-defense by deeming gun stores essential
✅ Opposes gun & ammo bans

@JoeBiden
🚫 Will implement gun & mag bans
🚫 Will impose tax & registration schemes
Biden has promised to come for our commonly owned semi-automatic rifles. He has also promised a “national buyback program” (deceptive phrase for confiscation) of America’s most popular rifle.
Biden will implement a $200 tax on semi-autos and magazines that can hold more than ten rounds.

Biden has said he wants “mandatory buybacks” (deceptive phrase for confiscation) of America’s most popular rifle.

This Biden policy would've disarmed the pregnant Florida mom who used her AR-15 to defend her family. There are countless stories like this.
Biden has said he disagrees with SCOTUS decision declaring the Second Amendment protects the individual right to owning a firearm. townhall.com/tipsheet/katie…
