This was organised as the concluding program of #Rathayatra which travelled for 36 days, conducted 225 programs distributed 50k handouts and sold 30k stickers and 10k posters! ImageImageImage
There were two rathas one was concluded in #Badamii and the other in #Shivamogga
That Ratha travelled for 34 days doing 245 programs and selling thousands of stickers and posters! Ratha concentrates mostly villages. Some days they did 12 programs and some other days 5.

Here is thread of #Shimoga violence.

It all started with a Tipu cut out in which he kills two saffron coloured people. Police understood the depth of the problem and painted them white.
Muslims went on rage and women started protesting and blocking the roads of Honnali-shimoga.
Later SP spoke to them and tried to clear the air. But when the procession started the true color came out.. 1/n
Later they say few pelted stones on the procession. Though not one video released of it yet some believe a distant possibility.
Somehow Muslims wanted to provoke Hindu community. Just look at the cutout they displayed in-front of Masjid yesterday. Which says Aurangjeb built Akhand Bharat samrajya! 2/n

Once Muslims start stone pelting there is no way to stop them as they are expert in this job. Well prepared and well trained. This time receivers of their stroke were the police themselves.
Local people say even the SP was badly beaten, though his confirmation yet to come.
