I have previously set out how Luke Harding of the Guardian burst into my life with his false reporting, and put me on the front page of his paper But the Guardian have since confirmed that I have no connection to Russian intelligence services. So the question is WHY? (Thread) (1)

The real targets of his story are @GenFlynn and @realDonaldTrump, I am just irrelevant. Harding is helping to create a false narrative of Flynn's inappropriate contact with Russia to assist his Collusion theory which has now been totally disproven by Mueller. (2)

The purpose is to invent a fresh link between Russian Military Intelligence (which he incorrectly called the GRU, which is it's old name) and the Trump campaign. (3) theguardian.com/us-news/2017/m…

The entirely implausible link is that UK and US intelligence Chiefs were troubled that I was working with the GRU archives and Gen Flynn had contact with me. Harding even refers to my confidential book proposal, a document he managed to obtain unlawfully, and he misquotes it. (4)

Harding knows the story is false, he has been told he is pushing conspiracy theories, by Professor Christopher Andrew, the world's leading intelligence expert, with whom he is in close contact. Harding knows that I am going to complain and that he cannot support the story (5)

Harding clearly does not come up with this conspiracy theory himself. So who are his sources and what is their motivation? Who is propounding the theory that I have privileged access to the GRU archives, directly ordered by Putin? (6)

I now know from numerous sources that Stefan Halper is the originator of the 'privileged access' theory. Who is Stefan Halper? He is now widely acknowledged to be the key 'confidential source' in Crossfire Hurricane (7)

It has now been published in numerous newspaper outlets that Halper caused me to be reported to the US intelligence authorities. Did Harding get information directly from Halper or from someone else in the investigation, or from someone with access to classified information? (8)

And how does Harding know and gets EXCLUSIVE information about the agenda classified top level meeting between spy chiefs? These are extremely troubling questions that need be investigated. (9)

I have never been approached, let alone questioned, by any UK or US authorities, and to be clear, that includes the Mueller inquiry. A Russian spy meeting a head of US intelligence agency in 2014 would have been acted upon instantly, surely. (10)

Anyone who is innocent has a legal right not to be named in the newspapers. There has to be an investigation into Harding's activities. (END)
