CNN are really quiet about their part in the Russia Hoax.
No investigation, no firings and no “self-reflection”.
Let's take a look at how CNN promoted the collusion myth
(Thread):
On July 24-25, Jake Sullivan, Hillary's chief foreign policy adviser, was briefing CNN's "on air talent" and producers about the whole Russia hoax narrative. /2
July 24, 2016: CNN's Jake Tapper enables Hillary campaign manager to proclaim Russia was helping to elect Trump, Republican platform was changed to aid Russia and push other Hillary/Fusion GPS talking points.
This was repeated by other media outlets. /3 edition.cnn.com/2016/07/24/pol…
July 29, 2016: Anderson Cooper asks NY Times Maggie Haberman, who is linked to Hillary campaign, about the "blowback for the Trump campaign" after the DNC emails news.
Haberman responds: "Clinton campaign is basically saying that there's collusion between Trump and Russia" /4
Hillary campaign through Fusion GPS, created the media "Trump-Russia collusion" hysteria.
Without evidence they invented the term “collusion”, packaged it to the media who promoted it.
On July 31, the FBI opened an investigation into Trump-Russia. /5
September 2016, Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS met with CNN (among others) and briefed them on the "dossier" /6

Jonathan Chait (NY Mag) published the below today. "No, the Steele Dossier Did Not Invent the Russia Scandal The report was faulty, but Trump was very, very guilty." nymag.com/intelligencer/…
Why? Because he is one of the original Russia Hoaxers trying to memory-hole what he did /1
In APRIL 2016, Chait was already on message pushing Fusion GPS, i.e. Hillary/McCain narrative:
"Why Is Donald Trump a Patsy for Vladimir Putin?" Apr 28, 2016
/2 nymag.com/intelligencer/…
In his April 2016 article describing Trump as "Putin's stooge" Chait builds on two other Fusion GPS-placed stories by Franklin Foer and Michael Crowler.
The first sign of their targeting is the appearance of Trump advisors Gen Flynn and Paul Manafort in these articles. /3
From #SpecialCounselDurham indictment:
“Rodney Joffe] called an individual at Internet Company-3. During the call, [Joffe] instructed the individual to task Internet Company-3 employees to search for any Internet data reflecting potential connections or communications between /1
Trump or his associates and Russia. In connection with this tasking, [Rodney Joffe] later stated that he was working with someone who had close ties to the Democratic Party and to Hillary Clinton. In connection with this tasking, [Joffe] emailed to Internet Company-3 personnel /2
a five-page document (the “Trump Associates List”) listing six associates of Trump and a purported U.S.-based lobbyist for Alfa Bank who was also discussed in written materials prepared by the U.S. Investigative Firm that SUSSMANN would later provide to the FBI General Counsel /3
Hillary campaign lawyer Sussmann is indicted by the grand jury. The indictment was sought by Special Counsel Durham.
The specific count is lying to the FBI by not disclosing that Sussmann was acting on behalf of a client when he made anti-Trump allegations before the election
/1
The indictment says that Sussmann's alleged lie made the FBI open an investigation and waste resources/time
/2
Everyone should read the full indictment to appreciate the scale of the alleged deception operation undertaken just before the 2016 election

5 years ago, the Crossfire Hurricane investigation was opened.
It was problematic from the start: the same agent, Peter Strzok, drafted, approved, launched and supervised the investigation into a political campaign 4 months before the election.
Why was there no oversight?
2) The Russia collusion investigation was opened based on an alleged “suggestion of a suggestion” by a junior campaign advisor passed through informal channels, i. e. a rumour about a rumour.
Yet somehow the whole campaign leadership ended up being investigated.
3) Although the public was told that the information used to launch investigation came from a Friendly Foreign Government, the opening document (Electronic Communication) show that the tip came through informal channels.
This is a breach of the Five Eyes intelligence agreement.
The Guardian's Harding is only brave when he thinks he can spread lies without being held to account
Harding put me on the FRONT PAGES falsely accusing me of being a Russian spy in inappropriate relationship with Gen Flynn
Harding knew this was a horendous lie but printed anyway
Naturally I sued Harding and the Guardian. They were forced to retract.
Having defamed me, and made my life hell by unleashing the media on me, and then forced to retract, Harding felt a bit "awkward" so he took to avoiding me at literary festivals.
That's Luke Harding and the Guardian for you, ladies and gentlemen.
