There has been a lot of speculation around the fire at Highlander Center, and white supremacist activity around Knoxville recently. Here's what we know.

On Saturday 3/30 a group of masked fascist marched on UT campus, and in front of Planned Parenthood.
Backroom Knox quickly reported on the marches as being part of "Knights Templar" on facebook, but was corrected by account "John Musgrove" who replied with a link sharing a new neo nazi organization called "The Legion of Saint Ambrose" (LoSA)
LoSA seems to mirror similar values of what the now defunct Traditionalist Workers Party

Matt Heimbach, former leader of TWP recently expressed the intent to start a new organization.
LoSA posted a video of their actions on campus and Planned Parenthood to YouTube on April 1st. In the comments, former TWP member Colton Williams claimed to be apart of the creation of this new organization. These comments were quickly deleted.
Around this same time, Backroom Knox reported on the fire at Highlander Center, attempting to spread a conspiracy theory that the fire was self sabotage due to financial insecurity. Craig Spaulding, former TWP member, backed this conspiracy up in the comments.
Craig and TWP have many connections to Backroom Knox and its admin, Christian Seus. @UR_Ninja discord leaks from TWP show many mentions of Backroom Knox. Christian was aloud to film and record in and around TWP events/actions and has published press releases from fash orgs.
The same night of the fire at Highlander, Craig was seen at The Concourse, which happened to be hosting a @knoxpeoplepower event the following day. Craig left the concourse around 1AM early friday morning, a few hours before the fire started.
Graffiti found near where fire started matches TWP graffiti, and a symbol of the Iron Guard, aka The Legion of the Archangel Michael, founded by Corneliu Codreanu.
Iron Guard principles and symbols are reflected in this new organization, Legion of Saint Ambrose, and former TWP members.
Many Facebook accounts sharing and commenting on Backroom Knox posts have Codreanu quotes.

Meet Corey Scott Whittman
Corey, AKA Dr. Cocopuff, was active in the now defunct TWP and more recently participated in actions with LoSA. Corey has been organizing with figures such as Matthew Heimbach since at least 2016. Here he is with Heimbach at the 2016 RNC.
Corey has been spotted at actions in Knoxville on at least 3 separate occasions in the past few months, but is believed to be from Shively or Louisville, KY. Here he is with Colton Williams and David Branscusm holding an SS flag in 2017.
He was armed at the nazi rally in Pikeville, KY April 2017 and attended the violent Unite the Right rally in August that same year.

Knox County Sherrif Tom Spangler believes that having one of his own officers promote terrorism and genocide against the LGBTQ community is protected under free speech. #ACAB
Knoxville has a deeply misconstrued understanding of “free speech” that historically protects white supremacy and promotes bigotry.
In 2017, TN passed the Campus Free Speech Protection Act which states that colleges cannot shield individuals from free speech, including ideas and opinions that are offensive or radical.

In a video posted by Legion of Saint Ambrose to youtube one week ago, a book authored by the former director of the Higlander Center can be seen at 1:47.
Colton Williams has claimed to have created and lead this new organization. LoSA uses Christian symbols instead of runes and other fascist symbols in their online presence and when the rock was painted last Friday evening 4/5
Colton stated on 4chan that the common "PX" symbol for Christ in the official LoSA logo uses the whip of St. Abrose
