Good Morning America! Unless you are @carolelee ...
(THREAD) (1)
One might wonder why the distinguished White House Correspondent for the @WSJ in 2017 is leading the charge on a seemingly pointless and untrue article about @GenFlynn and I? (2)
You will all recall that the 'interaction' took place way back in 2014. FYI Catherine Herridge and Rush Limbaugh recently reported on all this. The WSJ article makes clear that the DIA dismiss the whole story. It is a nothing-burger so why run it? (3) foxnews.com/politics/russi…
Let's establish the chronology leading up to publication. On Feb 28 and again Mar 1, 2017 two 'reporters' from WSJ contact me desperate to discuss 'my relationship" with Gen Flynn. I am in bed with my four-week-old newborn and very ill. (4)
Let's be clear: I have no 'relationship' with General Flynn whom I met once at a public event 3 years before the WSJ enquiry. I was too busy with a newborn to even read these emails. Then I get a strange email from Professor Andrew telling me that WSJ were contacting various..(5)
members of University of Cambridge regarding 'outrageous' allegations about me being made by WSJ. I call Prof Andrew, and he is so distressed he won't speak to me, asks me to speak to Prof Kent. (6)
What Prof Kent told me was so shocking that my partner immediately contacted lawyer and they prepared the following statement for us to issue: (7)
So @WSJ reporters from Washington saw it fit to put libellous, salacious and untrue allegation about a British subject, academic and a new mother to her peers and superiors at her University behind her back. Remember, there is NO EVIDENCE which they know (8)
So @carolelee what sort of human being does this? Did you ever stop to think that making such allegations will have a devastating impact on a private citizen? (9)
Having read this, @carolelee, a human being would stop: 'Ms Lokhova is currently unwell and your enquiries have made that condition worse. She is recovering from the recent birth of our daughter. The allegations are deeply upsetting and hurtful to Ms Lokhova and our family.' (10
So what understanding and caring response did your team send @carolle? Was it we are so sorry to bother you? No. (12)
WSJ finestRob Barry emailed on 6 March “Mr. North, I appreciate you reaching out on behalf of Ms. Lokhova. Our reporting on this is continuing, and we'd very much like to speak with her at her earliest convenience. How best can we do that? Many thanks, Rob” (13)
Which bit of 'go crawl back under your rock' did @WSJ not get, Carol Lee @carolelee? (14)
My partner responds to @WSJ: 'allegations are entirely false and your source is acting maliciously.. In the light of the distress that your false allegations have already caused, I view your continued inquiries as harassment of someone you know to be ill.' (15)
I woke up on the morning of March 18, 2017 to read a story full of errors, innuendo, 'anonymous sources', 'former senior officials', etc. All the hallmarks of a hit on @GenFlynn . wsj.com/articles/mike-… (16)
It's not worth it to go through all the errors, the innuendoes, the sensationalism. The whole premise is BS. The dinner for @GenFlynn was organised with DIA, and the names of the guests were pre-cleared with the DIA who were copied on this email (email addresses withheld) (17)
DIA were present at dinner: 'Dan O’Brien, who at the time was the chief of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s liaison office in London and also attended the event, said there were about 20 graduate students there, including Ms. Lokhova.' (18)
'Mr. O’Brien said there was nothing that struck him as improper or that would have prompted him to discuss the interaction with other DIA officials. “Nothing rose to the level,” he said.' DIA official told @WSJ NOTHING HAPPENED (18)
"Mr. O’Brien said there was nothing that struck him as improper or that would have prompted him to discuss the interaction with other DIA officials. “Nothing rose to the level,” he said." DIA CLEARED GEN FLYNN (19)
Let's go back to the first paragraph of the article: 'a contact that came to the notice of U.S. intelligence'. We know there is no report from the DIA. So either the WSJ is lying or there is a separate non-DIA intelligence report that's been leaked. Very worrying. (20)
What is going with this report? It must be investigated. The most concerning aspect is that the source of the 'intelligence' is Stefan Halper. We know this because NYT and @washingtonpost tell us. But all the vital details reported in this article are flat-out wrong. (21)
Just one example: contrary to what the article said, I didn't seat next to @GenFlynn as the photograph shows. So @carolelee why did you write about 'a possible attempt to gain sensitive information or even recruit a senior official on behalf of a foreign government'? (22)
You all know what followed. My and my child's lives has been turned upside down. Why @carolelee as a senior and experienced White House correspondent, and a mother, felt the need to do this to a private citizen in the UK? Please explain. (23) END

CNN are really quiet about their part in the Russia Hoax.
No investigation, no firings and no “self-reflection”.
Let's take a look at how CNN promoted the collusion myth
(Thread):
On July 24-25, Jake Sullivan, Hillary's chief foreign policy adviser, was briefing CNN's "on air talent" and producers about the whole Russia hoax narrative. /2
July 24, 2016: CNN's Jake Tapper enables Hillary campaign manager to proclaim Russia was helping to elect Trump, Republican platform was changed to aid Russia and push other Hillary/Fusion GPS talking points.
This was repeated by other media outlets. /3 edition.cnn.com/2016/07/24/pol…
Jonathan Chait (NY Mag) published the below today. "No, the Steele Dossier Did Not Invent the Russia Scandal The report was faulty, but Trump was very, very guilty." nymag.com/intelligencer/…
Why? Because he is one of the original Russia Hoaxers trying to memory-hole what he did /1
In APRIL 2016, Chait was already on message pushing Fusion GPS, i.e. Hillary/McCain narrative:
"Why Is Donald Trump a Patsy for Vladimir Putin?" Apr 28, 2016
/2 nymag.com/intelligencer/…
In his April 2016 article describing Trump as "Putin's stooge" Chait builds on two other Fusion GPS-placed stories by Franklin Foer and Michael Crowler.
The first sign of their targeting is the appearance of Trump advisors Gen Flynn and Paul Manafort in these articles. /3

Hillary campaign lawyer Sussmann is indicted by the grand jury. The indictment was sought by Special Counsel Durham.
The specific count is lying to the FBI by not disclosing that Sussmann was acting on behalf of a client when he made anti-Trump allegations before the election

The indictment says that Sussmann's alleged lie made the FBI open an investigation and waste resources/time

Everyone should read the full indictment to appreciate the scale of the alleged deception operation undertaken just before the 2016 election
