The Twin Nuclei Problem: once a species unlocks the twin nuclei of Cell & Atom, it starts an era where it has no long term future, confined to the local habitable rocks of our solar system (apologies @elonmusk).

Wisdom cannot be the answer. The true source code is the only hope.
The Twin Nuclei Era began in the space of four months in 1952-3 with the first test of the Teller-Ulam fusion device in early November of 1952 followed by the discovery of 3D structure of DNA in late February of 1953.

It is amazing to me that no government is working on escape.
Ultimately our home is in the stars or not at all. There is simply now too much power to wield for those with no real dreams beyond wielding power.

It’s interesting just how completely the idea of science as part of a non market long term agreement has disappeared.

Let’s make sure we figure out Dark Matter and the Origin of Life by Q3 so we can raise a Series A.
Should we allow Nancy Pelosi to invest in Pfizer and Pfizer to establish a nonprofit charitable organization to contribute to @EcoHealthNYC and @TheLancet? That way we can get capital appreciation through recurring Pharma revenue!

You aren’t getting it.

For example: Feynman’s story about “The Alibi Room” is also about great math-physics minds of the 1940s-60s dipping into Aerospace companies (Curtiss-Wright in Buffalo). Same with Solomon Lefshetz. Likely Wheeler, Deser, DeWitt.

Y’all just never noticed.
That famous “G-mu-nu” story where Feynman can’t remember which North Carolina University is hosting the Gravity conference? Is about Bahnson and an *anti-gravity* initiative. Again, you just didn’t notice because of the way we tell the story. Higgs? UNC Physical Fields institute.
The entire “Golden Age of General Relativity” is misportrayed. Feynman and Uri Geller? Pauling and Feynman at Esselen? The LSD stories? The story about nuclear powered airplane patents? It’s some super freaky pseudo-scientific seeming story about many of our greatest scientists.

In 1986, the @NSF secretly commissioned a study of future wages. It projected salaries of over $100K back then for new PhDs.

I’m not making this up: it called that “This pessimistic scenario” and erased the demand curves to try to flood the market via IMMACT90.

Come: Debunk me.
The @NSF conspired AGAiNST the scientists. With whom? The National Academy of Science through the Government University Industry Research Round Table (@Guirr). I have been invited four times to the NAS to present this. It is an out and out conspiracy.

This account has > 1/2M followers & is spreading a wild conspiracy story that the US science establishment destroyed US STEM careers through market tampering. It’s housed at @nberpubs & @INETeconomics. It sews distrust in science & government. Debunk me @APFactCheck, @PolitiFact.

You no longer need to know how hedonic adjustments are calculated.

You don’t need to worry about C-CPI-U, tax brackets, Social Security adjustments.

Relax. Think of a summer’s day with a light breeze.

Why worry about May 2020 after all? It simply causes stress to read so many words.

There was a data series discontinuity. It is probably all an artifact. A data flaw. Mother will take care to make sure baby is safe and warm.
Don’t worry about the 7%. Just remember the .5%. That precision tells you @BLS_gov knows what it is doing.

Focus on the .5% and remember: it’s only your taxes, wages, life savings and benefits on the line.

It’s not your health. You can read a book. Money, isn’t everything…

I’m so sorry. Clearly I have failed you. It’s all Pfizer and Fauci to many of you. The market will sort it all out. Or Bitcoin. Or something.

I spent a week with Watson. He repeatedly conducted himself as a perfect ass. He publicly insulted secretaries. He gave rankings of average intelligence by ethnicity at dinners hosted for him. His stated opinions were as toxic as you could imagine. Let your imagination run wild.
He couldn’t remember my wife’s name when I mentioned it one day.

“Pia? Who is Pia?” Said Jim.

“The Short Brown Woman who mopped the floor with your mis-representation of natural and sexual selection and SRY protein?” I said.

“Oh!“ he said “She was absolutely spectacular!”
I was confused. “Huh?”

“Why are you confused? I was wrong and she was brilliant! I’m going to use that argument. You know your kids are brilliant because of her? One set of Genes can’t do it.”

It was like that all week.

What did I learn? That the tragedy of Watson is unique.
