Trying out #AdobeFresco for the first time on my iPad.
Just a simple line drawing of my living room with a splotchy ink pen.
I'm going to lay some color under it with the app's amazing digital watercolor tech, which is what I really want to test drive. #prerelease#betauser
So far, I like the app. It's going to be hard not to compare it to Procreate, which I have been a fan of for years.
Fresco doesn't seem quite as intuitive but the brush engine is it's killer feature. And that's a pretty big deal.
I'll be happy using both apps. 😀
I drew this last night. In reality, there were more toys scattered on the floor, like a dozen more hot wheels I didn't feel like drawing. And some tracks. #parentlife
Why do we have a large Eiffel Tower in our living room?
A friend gifted to my son after our Paris trip several months ago. It's wooden model he assembled himself. It's too big to fit in his room so it sits in our living room reminding us of Parisian afternoons along the Seine.

I lay some pre-made grids over the storyboard panel and adjust them with Photoshop's perspective tool. I eyeball it this time instead of using vanishing points.
The horizon line (dark blue) is near the top of the frame so we look down into the room.
Then using the storyboard as a guide, I rough in the architecture and major elements.
Though I used reference for the pirate ship, it's a theater stage, not a seafaring vessel, so I cheated a lot of the logistics of a ship.
