THREAD:
1/ So Trump's WH distributes a talking points doc that mirrors Fox News. Then all the R's in congress start tweeting the talking points. Then Trump retweets them, tweeting the talking points that *he gave them.*

2/ Then Fox News begins reporting on the tweets as confirmation that their initial position on the issue is correct - even though that position became the talking points that became the tweets that became the RTs that became the "news" that justified the original talking points

3/ Meanwhile Fox and Republicans have totally abandoned focus on any of the other content that *may* be in the original whistleblower report, because Barr determined that the report was unimportant and everything is hunky-dory, because this *memo* about a conversation...

4/ ... *put out by the white house* clears Trump of any wrongdoing... which it doesn't even do.

5/ Now, consider that the Mueller report landed on Barr's desk, before he issued a statement that matched talking points, and diverted the focus from the Mueller report to Barr's interpretation of the report - which was that it exonerated Trump.

6/ Congress is *still* fighting to get the unredacted report, and R's are still parading around on the nothingburger train while defending and endorsing continued obstruction of oversight and illegal noncompliance with subpoenas and document requests.

And here we are again.

7/ A memo that (supposedly) clears the President, and an opinion from Barr that has the Republicans chanting in unison that there's no reason for the actual whistleblower report to ever see the light of day.

8/ Last month a criminal referral was made to DOJ by the IG, which, again, Barr decided had no merit, and nobody has seen or heard about.

9/ We are bearing witness to the most criminal administration and most brazen corruption of an entire political party in the history of this country.
