Character profile.

Name: Nakamoto Yuta.
Nationality: Japanese.
Age: 28 years old.

Yuta left Osaka when he was 18, to study in the US to become a designer. He graduated a few years later and has been working as a designer as a cover up for his actual job; being a hitman. Image
Sicheng just moved in next door to Yuta’s place, they were lucky enough to find a place close enough to their number one suspect’s one.
It’s fall, the leafs are turning orange and red, the air is getting colder so Sicheng is wearing a black sweater, black skinny jeans and a long
beige jacket,as he goes in and out to carry his boxes into his new home-at least for the next few months. The house was nice, a little too big to be alone in it, but he knew he’d be alright since he’d be busy from work and from his fake one as well, since he had to have a coverup
His coverup job is simple florist. Which isn’t a problem to him, his mom was one and he grew up surrounded by flowers, he had a good knowledge of it.
To this point he didn’t exactly know how to actually get around Yuta, he never had much then a old picture and basic facts about
the male. It was hard to find things about him. Else then how old he is, where he comes from, where he lives and where he studied. No one knows exactly where he works, or even if he has friends or a lover. It was all vague and Sicheng was a little bit anxious, it was his first
big case and he wanted to do good. He wanted to prove he wasn’t just a kid to his superiors because he was indeed the youngest of his department and everyone made sure he knew about it.
Sicheng wished he would make friends in this new town as well, even if he would keep busy, it
would still help if he had a few peeps to hang out with. It would probably make him more credible, anyways.
The next day, when Sicheng heard a knock on his door, he was pretty surprised. He didn’t expect it to be who it was, it never expected it. He surely didn’t look like the old pic he got. Yuta was a little smaller then him, his hair was longer and beautifully shaped his face, he
had a beautiful smile and looked damn innocent. He surely didn’t expect him to look this lovely and warm.

"Hi, I’m Yuta, I live just there! I made you these croissants, I hope you’ll like them!"

He pointed to the house next to Sicheng’s one and smiled even more. He looked
childish as fuck and Sicheng had mixed feelings about his suspect. Normally they did look normal, but not this innocent.
"Oh, hi! Everyone calls me Winwin. I will gladly eat these! Is the neighborhood calm ? Do you want to come in?"

Yuta softly laughed and Sicheng could swear he could NEVER see that man hurt anyone. He was kinda surprised, when Yuta indeed came inside as he told him how it was
calm around the neighborhood. He smiled softly, closing the door and offering him something to drink, the smaller one accepted right away. He seemed joyful and it looked like he loved looking around.
In reality, Yuta was looking for clues to see if he should worry about his new
neighbor. He was careful, really careful.

"You don’t have much things on display, do you need help to unpack? And thanks."

Yuta slowly took the bottle of water that was offered to him, smiling softly as he started to drink from it, looking at Sicheng curiously.
"Mmmmh, I wouldn’t say no to some help but I wouldn’t want to bother you either."

Sicheng looked neutral, drinking from his own bottle.

"Also I don’t trust strangers so.... We better get to know each other a little, if you’re really offering yourself."
It made Yuta laugh. It was normal to be on defensive, so he decided to let it go and talk with Winwin. After all, he was a cutie and hanging out with an attractive man? He wouldn’t dare say no.
They passed the rest of the day talking as they unmade every box possible. It was nice, surprisingly. Winwin was a soft man and Yuta a flirty one, weirdly they made a good duo. They even went out to eat when they finished it up.
Yuta was sat right in front of him, smiling at him so beautifuly. He was still so surprised of how friendly the man was, but it would just make it easier for him to get into it. At the least, that’s what he thought.
As the day ended, Yuta left Sicheng at his door, wishing him a good night before leaving for his own house.
Sicheng closed the lights as he went upstairs, taking a shower and finally getting on his new bed and falling asleep.
Days passed and Sicheng found himself hanging out with Yuta a lot, working and hanging out with Taeil, his co-worker. Two weeks in and he was supposed to go out with Taeil that night, so when he finished up he went to pick him up, then got to his house to get ready.
Taeil was a little older, around 30, and seemed to be a party guy but so sweet at the same time. He was wayyy smaller then him and was quite clingy. Sicheng didn’t mind, actually. So has he was getting ready, Taeil was just sitting on his bed looking at him walk around.
"So what are you gonna wear ? You keep walking around in boxers dude, is that how you plan to seduce men?"

Sicheng laughed, shaking his head slowly as he took a black skinny jeans.

"Should I go with a satin shirt, a lace one or some t-shirt with a vest ?"
"Definitely a lace one, it’ll look nice on you."

Taeil smiled brightly, Sicheng putting everything on before going to the bathroom, drying his hair, letting them all curled and falling naturally, which wasn’t that bad.
"How do I look? Is it all fine ?"

Sicheng asked, Taeil nodding as he told him it was perfect. They soon enough ended up in a club, a gay one since well.... They were both gay. It was new for Sicheng, who actually was surprised by how many people could fit into a place like this
As soon as they got in, Sicheng could feel his phone vibrate and he looked at it only to be surprised. Image
He didn’t know Yuta was into men and running in him here was probably the weirdest thing to do. But he still got to the bar, followed by Taeil, looking for Yuta.
When he found him, the man seemed wasted already and was smiling big, pressing an heavy kiss on his cheek, surprising
him a whole lot.

"Hiii Winwin-ah ! You look stunning I might say! Can I offer you a drink? Oooh you have a friend with you? Is he your boyfriend or something?"

Taeil shook his head as he took a seat, Sicheng biting his lip while looking at both of them from turn to turn
"No he’s not and I’ll gladly take the drink."

Little did he know that a few hours later, he was dancing against no other man then Yuta, totally wasted and somewhat horny-a man as needs, he wasn’t the most active one on top of that.
Taeil had gone away to dance with a tall ass guy, a hot American one actually and he had found himself drinking with his suspect. Yuta looked as wasted as him by now, so it was looking pretty hot and intense. Sicheng never really thought of Yuta that way before: hot af.
And it looked like Yuta thought Winwin was a whole meal as well, with his hands running around him as they danced. Was he really dancing, totally wasted, with his number one suspect? Yes. But he was totally forgetting that Yuta was probably a criminal at this very moment.
"Should I take you home? You look like you’d need to lay...."

Sicheng knew what he meant but still nodded to agree, meaning they were now leaving.

One day, two days, three days.... It was like Yuta totally vanished. Sicheng knew damn well he was just next door, but the older seemed to be distant. He didn’t look his way when he was leaving for work, didn’t answer his texts, he just seemed like he was ignoring him.
Sicheng could barely believe he slept with him, but weirdly, he didn’t care much about it. He didn’t care because deep down, he knew he wanted it when he was sober but he would never even dared to make a move. He was sad that Yuta was pushing him away just like this.
He thought maybe Yuta just wanted a little fun and here he had it so he didn’t want anything to do with him anymore. He was sat in the back store when he heard the bell ring, it had been almost two weeks now and when he heard Taeil and Yuta discuss flowers, he pouted a little.
"I want flowers for a loved one. I want to make them a beautiful gift and I hope they can smile."

Winwin sighed, slowly carving into a pumpkin. It was almost halloween and they were decorating the place, so he didn’t have much choice. He tried to focus on this instead of Yuta’s
conversation with Taeil. It’s only when Yuta left that he got out, showing his pumpkin to his friend even though he looked sad. It was too apparent.

"I’m so sorry Winwin-ah.... I’m here okay?"

He only nodded, sitting as he sighed. He was trapped into it now. He couldn’t even
close the case-he didn’t even want to anyways, it was a weird feeling. On the other way he couldn’t even get a word out from Yuta. It made him mad but more sad then anything. What to do? He didn’t know.

"What if he knows and that’s why he’s ignoring you?"

Winwin looked up to
at his friend, pouting. Taeil knew about Sicheng’s actual job and it was probably the best hypothetical possibility. Maybe Yuta knew.

"I don’t know.... I hope not.... I mean I don’t want him to think I hooked with him because of work.... I genuinely wanted it."
"He doesn’t know that, Winwin-ah. Just at least tell him it wasn’t the drunk you who wanted it. No matter the circumstances, you should tell him, even if he doesn’t know."

He pouted and nodded, going back to carving pumpkins as he was humming to himself.
That day he came home to see a bouquet of roses on his porch and a letter hanging from it. He frowned. The flowers Yuta bought were for him? Lavender they were and this colour meant love at first sight, it was a pretty common knowledge.
He softly took it before coming in, putting the roses in a vase softly. He sat down to read the letter, which he never expected.

"Dear Sicheng" was written and he knew his cover was blown up. He never told him his real name so he just knew.
"Dear Sicheng,

I’m sorry for letting you off, but I just couldn’t risk it all for you to get in trouble afterwards. I knew who you were all along, just before you moved in I got contract on your head and when you moved in, I just knew. You are working on a case on me, I know.
I don’t even hate you for it. You seem to be a great agent, as much as you’re a beautiful human being, probably the softest man I ever met. I thought if I played alone I could easily put terms with my own contract, but I got to know you and you made me feel some type of way...
It scared me at first. I turned down the contract because I can’t kill you. I can’t imagine myself even trying. That night, I was so drunk I forgot you were actually after me and you were probably doing your job when you let me in this way. I’m leaving town before you can do
your work. I wanted to let you know that in the spent of one month, you did something no one ever did, which is open my heart and fill it with butterflies. You are wonderful and I wish we met under other circumstances, because maybe then you would of taken me as me, not as what
people know me as. I hope you’ll be fine, I’m sorry for crashing your case by leaving without you knowing, but I can’t let you take away my freedom. To close your case: yes, I am the hitman. Is it the first time the number one suspect falls in love with the FBI agent that’s on
his case ? Probably not, but I hoped it didn’t happen. Or at least, I wished it wasn’t one sided.

Have a beautiful life Winwin-ah,
Love,
Nakamoto Yuta"
Sicheng felt a ball in his throat and his eyes were full of tears. He didn’t know what hurt more in all of this, that Yuta left or the fact Yuta fell in love and never told him. The rest of his day was probably the worst. He didn’t bother move from the couch, staying there, laid
in a tiny ball, vision blurred by the tears that kept rushing down his cheeks. Sicheng just received an immense hit in the head and mostly, in the heart. Knowing Yuta left cleared his mind so easily. He was in love with him despite the man being a criminal and he knew he couldn’t
just do like it was nothing. In a way, he knew Yuta was a good man with him, like he was made for him, perfect match. They had the same mindset on so much topics and shared so much perfect moments... But on the other side, Yuta was a criminal and he was an FBI agent, it wouldn’t
even be possible. Unless..... He disappeared. The thought came to him as he was walking to work. He had red eyes from crying and because he never slept at all, he was wearing a jogging and a hoodie, nothing more, which wasn’t really something he would normally wear. It caught
Taeil’s attention, the man looking at Sicheng in a subjective way.

"What happened ?"

The taller of them two threw the letter on the counter and went to the back store, not even saying a word, sitting softly on the stool, taking flowers to slowly make them into a skull, for
halloween of course. Taeil came in, frowning.

"I’m so sorry Winwin-ah.... I’m here okay?"

Sicheng sighed, looking up at the oldest, grabbing his hand slowly.

"I’m leaving tonight. I want you to do like I just came in and nothing happened today. In three days, call the
police to say I didn’t came to work for the past three days and when you went to my house, I never opened up and you’re concerned. Please.... I need to disappear. I.... I need to find him. I’ll send you letters if you want to..."

And this is how it all began.
Winwin orchestrated all of his disappearance with Taeil. From A to Z, every little detail. Taeil was probably the best friend Sicheng could have, as weird as it is, he knew a whole about faux pas’s as they call it. When he left the shop, they hugged for a good five minutes.
He left everything at his house, phone, keys, papers, clothes and such. He even made sure it looked perfect, like he just suddenly vanished. He borrowed Taeil’s car, since he knew they would track his own and after packing food up-leaving a good amount im the fridge though- he
was all gone. On the road, even though he was tired like never before. He had the letter on the passenger seat and was humming as the songs were passing by. He stopped only when he knew he was far enough from town, checking in at a motel. He had cash-a good amount- at all time at
his house a first. So it wasn’t a problem, really. He didn’t knew how much he actually had, but it was enough for now.
He softly let himself fall onto the mattress, sighing as he drove to sleep without realizing.
Yuta was eating breakfast in a small restaurant when he heard Sicheng’s name on tv. He looked up to see what it was about and looked surprised about what he heard.

"FBI agent Dong Sicheng went missing. Nothing from his house is missing, phone, wallet and car remained in his
property’s limits. Sicheng vanished, we don’t know yet if he was kidnapped or left on his own will. If you ever see him, please contact your police department."

He frowned. Why would Sicheng just leave.... Leaving everything behind? On the pictures that were slowly passing on
the screen, he noticed the flowers he left him. So he did get his letter.... The thought maybe Sicheng was after him made him sad. The man he loved probably was running around to put him behind bars. But why would he had left without saying anything to the FBI?
Yuta was left wondering as he was eating, until he heard the little bell from the door ring. He didn’t even look, he didn’t care at all. It’s only when someone sat in front of him that he looked up from his plate to see Taeil.

"You told him you left town."
"Go away Taeil, go look for him instead."

Said Yuta, making Taeil frown, shaking his head softly.

"I don’t know where he is but he told me he would tell me when he’d be safe from FBI finding out where he is."

This time Yuta looked at him, confused like never before. Why
would Sicheng hide from the FBI? Was he that much in trouble?

"Don’t look at me like that. Winwin left to find you, dumbass. Did you really think he would of slept with you just for work? Sicheng is not that kind of agent, he investigates until he has solid proof. He doesn’t
infiltrate like some do. He genuinely likes you, man. He’s on the run cause he can’t be with you if he’s still working for the FBI and he’s gonna fake it all for your small peanut brain. God you two are so dumb!"

Taeil sighed, shaking his head as he got up pretty fast.
"Find him and leave the country while you can. I don’t want to see two hearts break. No matter what your job is, he loves you. He doesn’t care. He forgot about the case after a week, cause he told me about it cause he had to display it, but never said anything afterwards. Fuck,
Yuta, don’t ruin this. Just keep it low for now, they’ll probably think it’s you."

And he left, leaving Yuta in a weird mood. Sicheng left because he was... In love with him? Was that even possible?
Taeil was right though, the FBI came knocking on his door the very same day. He had to go in and got questioned for a lot. The only question that made touched him was when they asked him if he had done something to Sicheng, which he answered truthfully.
"I would never hurt Sicheng. The last time I saw him was the night I kissed him. The flowers you saw in his house were from me. I could never hurt him despite the fact he rejected me."

Yuta wanted them to think Winwin rejected him, because if they knew he didn’t they would
catch on really quick on why Sicheng left.

"Did you know he was an FBI agent ?"

Yuta shook his head, acting like he didn’t know, because he would of never known if he didn’t have a contract on Winwin’s head.

"Didn’t know until I head it on the news this morning. Never even
knew his real name. He told me his name was Winwin. I believed him."

The guy in front of him asked him a couple of questions, but the last one was probably the weirdest.

"Did you know he was working on a case that involved you?"

Yuta faked being surprised and outraged as he
heard that.

"A case ? Involving me? What do I have to do with criminals, sir?"

The man laughed, shaking his head as he leaned on the table, looking straight in Yuta’s eyes.

"We have a warrant to search your house for any arms or suspicious equipment. Agents are looking in
right now. I hope you’re okay with it, you have no choice."

Yuta truly didn’t care, he had nothing in his house else then kitchen knives. So he only smiled, raising his shoulder.

"Go ahead I’m okay with that."
They found nothing. Literally nothing against Yuta and had to let him free. It took him days to finally start running after Sicheng, but when he did, he found him without much problems. Yuta was good at this, really good. He found him in Hawaii, sat in the sand, looking all tired
"You should sleep more."

Said Yuta as be stands a few steps away from him. Sicheng looked up, letting a laugh pass his lips, shaking his lips.

"Have you been following me ? Or did you see me on tv?"
"Saw you on tv. But you’ll need to thank Taeil. He whipped my ass for coming back in town."

He sat next to him, Winwin shaking his head. His skin was glowing and his now pale brown hair looked beautiful under the sun.

"He told you everything didn’t he?"
Yuta nodded, hand softly coming to the younger’s cheek. He couldn’t help but smile, caressing his cheek so softly.

"I can’t believe you left everything just to find me..."

And he left a kiss on Sicheng’s other cheek, nuzzling against his it as he smiled like an idiot.
"I realized you mattered more then anything that company could ever do for me..."

It was Sicheng who softly came to kiss him, taking his sweet time and giving his all in it, happy he could taste his lips without being intoxicated.
After all, Sicheng and Yuta never let go of each other. The problem was more about Sicheng running away from the FBI. How would they live normally if they were researched all over the US? The question was clear; they had to leave the country. How? They didn’t know just yet.
Months passed until they could actually go abroad. They left the US by boat. It took them actual months to reach the human world again. Else then their money they took out from their bank accounts, they had nothing. At least, it was a lot. Thanks for Yuta’s job.
They set foot in South Korea. There, everything was new, they could barely communicate with other people, but they had each other and that’s what mattered to them.
