@ewarren showed herself to be duplicitous by allowing her staffers and members of the media to misrepresent conversations about campaign strategy. Liberals carry the most subtle knives. #WarrenIsASnake With any luck this is the death knell for her campaign.

"You wouldn't be here if you didn't pull out in front of a cop car when I had a green light" = "your driving annoyed me so i ran your plates for anything to nab you on"

"I can arrest you for obstructing justice." = "I can arrest you for pissing me off or not doing what I am telling you."

"you don't have tags" = car unregistered or is late for re-registration, a ticket most places

Also they are clearly harassing him for his narcotics record.
These police could've gone on with their days and not executed a traffic stop. They could've given him a ticket for a court summons to handle these clerical issues. Instead, they spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to separate him from his car so they could tow it.

If you're going to advocate for police reform right now, I'm going to need some evidence that earlier attempts at reforms have had *substantial* effects on the front end of police brutality. From my research, reform doesn't look good y'all.
Dash and Body cams haven't been successful in reducing police brutality, despite being used in a *small* number of prosecutions of LEOs. The panopticon effect only flows one way. technologyreview.com/2020/06/03/100…

Would you have preferred people find another shorthand for calling someone a liar? Snake in the grass is a common and agendered metaphor for treachery that dates back to Virgil and is the obvious intention of those you're criticizing. 1/5
Medusa is a terrible example. In Ovid's telling, she was given snakes for hair by Athena because she was raped by Poseidon.

Eve was tempted by a snake personification of Evil, the Devil, or Lust (Depending on the interpreter.) Eve is always the *victim* of a snake. 2/5
This is reaching, ok? It's fine to say that some Sanders fans are bullies, lord I'm not always nice and neither are your lot, but trying to convince people that Sanders fans are being misogynist against Warren with snake emojis is beyond the pale. 3/5

You don't survive long as a leftist without learning to look for the hidden successes.
For everyone losing hope around this election, may I remind you of the silver linings? The creation of a mass left movement is no small thing. We have brought fear to the lords of capital.
Even if Sanders loses, we've injected ideas into the public consciousness. The failure of one election is nothing. It was a chance to progress without force, but we are not dead! Our hearts are still beating like war drums. We can keep these fires lit in our hearts and voices.
We hold a power greater than any of them know. We hold the keys to solidarity in our many hands and, when united, we can make the most entrenched kings quiver and void their bowels. If Sanders loses, we begin the real work of material change, but it's on our own schedule now.

If anyone was ever unclear, I came up in a time and place where dirtbag leftist meant something else. It meant your friends might die for any number of reasons. You practiced politics in the drug houses, under bridges, at the punk shows, and in the streets.
I'm not some ivory tower marxist or sjw purist. On the other hand, I'm not some edgelord memer. I am someone who has seen a lot, I know a lot, I've worked with all sorts of people and know that even the most "good" people struggle with demons.
We're all in this together and we don't serve anyone but our enemies by factioning. Anarchists have long believed in tactical plurality, or allowing others to act (even if we don't believe in the efficacy of their tactics.) Infighting can wait if we have active threats.
