The DEF player I'm currently most excited about in the 2020 #NFLDraft class: Isaiah Simmons.
I fell in love w/ Derwin James & Minkah Fitzpatrick for their versatility -- Simmons exhibits all that & more.

But Simmons never has to leave the field. He has the size, speed, athleticism, pursuit, & coverage ability to handle any situation.
It will baffle me again if he falls *because* of his versatility, like Minkah & Derwin did. But..

...to have 1 player that can wear so many hats cannot be seen as bad thing.
For the #Bills, WR seems like a more pressing need. But if the opportunity was there to grab Simmons, even w/ a trade up into the teens, I'd smash it.

...plus he immediately can fill in for Zo at LB, pairs beautifully w/ Tremaine as nickel LBs, & could fill-in/take over for Hyde or Poyer as soon as needed.

-Sign Clowney to a huge deal
-trade up (1.22, 3rd, 2021 2nd or 3rd) to ~1.10 & take Simmons
-draft WR in the 2nd - possibly Bryan Edwards.
D would be top-3 in the NFL adding two freak & versatile athletes, & we get a big bodied playmaker for JA.

Even without Clowney, I see Simmons as a chess piece that would solidify a ridiculous D core of Edmunds, Simmons, Oliver, Tre White. Absolutely gross.
WR is deep enough that we could wait until R2 to address it as well.
