To NGOs: In some communities, it’s a taboo to talk about mental health - how are you planning to assist these communities? Are you engaging the youth in order to create change and reduce the stigma towards mental illness? #BellCause  #BellLetsTaIk #BellLetsTalk2020
To community leaders: You’ve a responsibility to educate community members, reduce stigma against mental illness, reach out to organizations that can assist, and encourage those suffering with mental illnesses to ask for help knowing they won’t be judged. #BellLetsTaIk #BellCause
And finally, to myself: I promise to ask one friend or colleague every month how they’re doing and let them know personally that I’m there for them incase they need to chat about anything. Sometimes all it takes is a good ear for all your stresses to disappear. #BellLetsTaIk
