This crypto bull market will only be moderately more discerning than the last.
Expect #bitcoin to surpass previous ATHs, and many of the riskier, higher-beta assets to outperform $BTC when all is said and done in this bull market.
I wish I could say the crap won't rally, but it will, with many examples showing life already.

Discernment will be a slow burn, requiring a combination of valuation consensus, standardization, and if we don't get it together ourselves, regulation.

1/ @BalancerLabs inverts the economics of indexed asset management.

Instead of investors paying annual fees to indexed portfolio managers, with Balancer the investors get paid for contributing their asset portfolios to indexed pools.

2/ But indexed asset management is only half of the story for @BalancerLabs.

Similar to Uniswap, Balancer’s indexed funds serve as liquidity pools for users, suppliers, traders and other market participants to access.
3/ As more investors are drawn to Balancer’s promise to pay people for their assets, these pools will grow, and @placeholdervc expects them to become some of DeFi’s most liquid venues.

Even if not implemented, @SpeakerPelosi’s willingness to consider a digital design is a major normalization step for cryptoassets.
But @SpeakerPelosi isn't doing this because of an ideological bent, she’s doing it out of practicality.

When everyone is quarantined at home, what better way to get them funds than through their phones?
In times of dislocation, whatever systems best solve the problems at hand are what’s implemented. And fast.

As many have noted before me, this can make what first seem like emergency measures turn into the new norm.
