Let's be 1st city, Frisco no pistols Police/ guns make u worse Cops / go ask London @LondonBreed/ pistols make u lazy/ without guns u bring the BRAINS/ ur force is more community based & has to work as a team instead of rushin in like a drunk Cowboy on courage & not much else
of course to pull this off SF would have to consult with @metpoliceuk & have them show us the ropes, they've only done this successfully for-ev-er. If a city of 8 million can do it, a small gem of 825K can learn
of course in certain & rare times, Guns ablaze! Vet Military folks who are coveted for their training & service abroad would be allowed to carry, they'd be Pistol patrol & operate differently as needed. They are the SWAT who form like Transformers only in complex situations

Love that Drive-In theaters are trending as a way to re-invent Cinema in post-virus world but how would that look in cities hmmm......
I'd put it on Treasure Island and build comfy cubes vaguely in shape of 🚙 with sofas in them, make sure it's an IMAX screen have h2O taxis to bring folks from Oak & Sco

Since our buses/ Metro system needs to be re-imagined in a 2 shakes of a lightning bolt, @jeffreytumlin why not team up with @Waymo & pick up few ppl who need to go to work & save waste of running empty buses
since Waymo uses Mini-van u can cap riders @ 2 or 3 ppl who are forced to sit far from each other/ remember no human driver & they already have an app. No need to put MUNI drivers at risk/ streets are empty & we can focus on few folks who have credible reason to leave home
Via this article, appears @SFBART & @sfmta_muni are less safe even w/ very few ppl, putting the drivers at risk too scmp.com/news/china/sci… which, puts the safety in question if not metered to very few pax & is better served w/ Waymo running on SF empty streets

💯% behind getting SFPD out of homeless problem as they haven't been trained for this & I've stated this a few years back, a good friend of mine works with the Hot team & that program needs to be better funded to hire more people @MattHaneySF

Lots of feels after seeing @TheIrishmanFilm 1st off-- it should be a mini-series & for 1st time I feel folks @ home on Netflix have advantage, you can pause & take break, turn off & return next day etc. Not worth seeing in theater
@TheIrishmanFilm I did like The Irishman, but intro was very weak but Scorsese knows he's got 3.5 hrs to get things rolling. I also think Scorsese has nothing further to say on Mafia & hopefully he doesn't make any more films on this subject. This was his Forrest Gump of Mafia
@TheIrishmanFilm @LandmarkLTC totally botched this experience in my city, the film seemed way too dark/ dim & audio was so low that I wondered why I paid. Once story gets rolling though, Pacino takes control as Hoffa & it's fun to watch, it's much more slow & nuanced since it deals w/ history
