Bernie has a good shot at winning WA and ND next Tuesday. Biden wins MS. I don’t have a good feel for ID. MO should be close. MI is the big prize. It’s younger and trends liberal. Biden is up in the polls, but Bernie can still win there. The D primary is still a fair fight.
The 3/15 debate will be of huge importance. Bernie needs to do two things: 1) Raise Biden’s many “bad” votes and make the case he’s out of step w Ds. Iraq. Trade. Long prison sentences. Social Security cuts. (Bernie must do better w seniors)
2) Make the case that he is the heir to the Obama progressive movement. Biden was put on the ticket to “balance” Obama. Bernie takes what O started and extends it. Bernie needs to broaden his base. He should try to steal the Obama mantle from Biden.
