Doesn't this count as a technical problem with UK registration / processing, which should lead to an automatic 1 year extension of the deadline for claiming "settled status", in accordance with Article 18(1)(c) of the Withdrawal Agreement?
Art 18(1)(c): deadline for applications shall be extended automatically by 1 year where UK notifies EU that technical problems prevent it registering applications / issuing certificates of application. So: does this count? I reckon it does. In which case: has UK notified EU yet?
I'm sure @the3million are on the case already! The Commission should be getting notification from the UK Government that the settled status deadline will be extended. And if the UK doesn't do so of its own initiative, the Commission should be asking both why not and when it will.
