Great news. Based on @dasgobardhan's idea and proposal - that M(w) strain provides an even better immune response than BCG - India begins clinical trial of M(w) for CoVID patients.

Would have been nice had @drharshvardhan at least thanked Prof Das for it.

Scenes at the Delhi-UP border today. Complete failure of State and Central administrations, to not have foreseen this, to not doing anything about this.

Suffice it to say that lockdown would begin in earnest after a week. #CoronvirusLockdown.
Every large State is grappling with reverse migration. Care for migrant labour should be the priority right now. Close coordination between States is a must.

Maharashtra, second only to Delhi in net- in-migration, is not witnessing the scenes Delhi is. What is @OfficeofUT doing right?

Note the size of Delhi's migrant population. It would be calamitous if @LtGovDelhi and @ArvindKejriwal do not get a grip on the situation very soon.

I totally support the PM for his 21 day lockout order. However, 744 million Indians earn 44 Rs a day; 91% of our labour force is in the informal sector. It was imperative to announce a package and cash transfer.

#Lockdown21 is a necessity, and every Indian supports the PM on it. But in the quest for social distancing, India should not distance herself from those who aren't infected but will suffer most because of corona.
