This the President of the United states, on national TV, spinning a *massive conspiracy theory* that places DONALD TRUMP—not CORONAVIRUS—at the center of the Wisconsin primary today by stating, *without evidence*, that all public health concerns there are a lie meant to hurt HIM.
Look—real talk—Trump is flat-out the sickest f*ck ever elected to public office in the United States. If his father hadn't given him over $400 million dollars to play with, he'd have ended up living in a box by the river by age 25. Every day he disgraces this country and himself.
This is just spitting facts—it has nothing to do with him being a Republican. He could be a Democrat or an independent or a Communist or a socialist or a neo-Nazi or a Buddhist or an atheist or a little green man from Mars. His fundamental defects as a human being are nauseating.

There are many ways to take this statement, but here's my recommendation: Trump decried the *entirety* of this IG report and the *entirety* of the Steele dossier with the same lack of evidence of ill intent in the preparation of the document. And both documents are full of truth.
PS/ Even as we have no reason to think that the IG report is anything but 100% true, we *also* still—today—have *no* reason to doubt Steele's statement about his dossier of raw intelligence: that post-vetting, 70% of it would be found to be accurate. I think he's *exactly* right.
PS2/ But more importantly, the fact that Trump would treat these two reports in exactly the same way underscores that he has given no thought whatsoever to either one of them, either as to their preparation or their content, except to see them as dangerous to him. That's damning.

THE NEW YORK TIMES: "Mr. Trump has a small personal financial interest in Sanofi, the French drugmaker that makes the brand-name version of hydroxychloroquine....[his] assertiveness in pressing the case [for it]...has raised questions about his motives." nytimes.com/2020/04/06/us/…
UPDATE (via MARKETWATCH): "It turns out [Trump] does look to have more than [a] modest sum [$99 to $1,485] invested in Sanofi, because, unmentioned in the NYT report, his trusts also hold broader European stock-market index funds."

Upshot is, we don't know the size of the stake.
PS/ What we *do* know is that one of the most famous true stories ever told about Trump—the "Spy Magazine" story—has as its moral the following fact: Trump considers *13 cents* incredibly valuable. So the idea his Sanofi stake is invisible to him is inconsistent with his history.
