There are many ways to take this statement, but here's my recommendation: Trump decried the *entirety* of this IG report and the *entirety* of the Steele dossier with the same lack of evidence of ill intent in the preparation of the document. And both documents are full of truth.
PS/ Even as we have no reason to think that the IG report is anything but 100% true, we *also* still—today—have *no* reason to doubt Steele's statement about his dossier of raw intelligence: that post-vetting, 70% of it would be found to be accurate. I think he's *exactly* right.
PS2/ But more importantly, the fact that Trump would treat these two reports in exactly the same way underscores that he has given no thought whatsoever to either one of them, either as to their preparation or their content, except to see them as dangerous to him. That's damning.
