This is a nursing home right down the road from me. If the patient doesn’t go to that nursing Home they usually get sent here. I’ve been begging for them to stop taking in new patients at nursing homes.

I have been in 8 to 10 nursing homes in WV. No Nursing Home I’ve been in has the ability to keep this virus from spreading like wildfire throughout the whole place. They stop taking New patients when they have a stomach virus because they know they can’t keep it under control.
I can verify they can do more to prevent the spread. I do appreciate what they have been doing but it’s not enough. There was a doctor in here The other day that had been in and out of the hospital seeing patients. He came here wearing no mask, gloves, or protective gown.
2day I talk to a woman working at CMAC hospital. She said as long as they don’t have a fever they can go straight to the nursing home without been tested. Once they get here they’re supposed to be quarantined for 15 days.
Their Quarantine still allows them to get up and walk down the halls around all of the other patients. So if they would have it it will be spread all over the nursing home.
