You don't need one to write.
Build it and they will come.
Or not.
Writing creates value for you either way.
No, you don't.
Write what interests you.
What you care about.
What you know (or are trying to figure out).

Nothing is original.
Consume great stuff, summarize great stuff, mix influences, combine ideas, distill experiences.
Play.
Just aim for valuable.
As @khemaridh says, "Synthesizing existing ideas is itself a new idea."
Be OK with just being OK at first.
No one is great at anything when they start (see the last tweet in this thread).
They get great by starting anyway.
Plus, no one is judging you - they're too busy worrying about who's judging them.
