OCME tells me I’m most cases they’re not testing people who die at home post-Mortem but refer cases to Health department as “probable” Covid deaths, health department tells me they only report Lab confirmed COVID deaths, and a surges of NYC residents are dying at home...
Here are stats from @FDNY released last night on number of times where EMTs and paramedics responded to a home and the person couldn't be revived...highlighted in yellow. (count_inc is a cardiac arrest call in general) - that number has increased steadily since March 20 
UPDATE: @nycHealthy now tells me they will start reporting suspected cases: "The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the NYC Health Department are working together to include into their reports deaths that may be linked to COVID but not lab confirmed that occur at home."
