Hey @DonaldJTrumpJr 👋! On 3/25, Sen. Cruz tried to make the same false claim. It appears as though you missed my response clarifying that NV never banned the drug. To save time, I’d prefer not to type it again, so here it is:
And just for the sake of clarity: I noticed the article you tweeted came from Texas. You might want to tell them that in March the TX State Board of Pharmacy adopted even stricter restrictions than NV for the same drugs. Read about it here:

1. These regs were developed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy in coordination with NV’s Chief Medical Officer and our COVID-19 Medical Advisory Team. They’re medical professionals. Really smart folks. I trust them.
2. As written in the regs, doctors can still administer these drugs to admitted patients, including #COVID19 patients, if they deem it medically necessary. Once again, leaving it to the medical professionals 🧑🏽‍⚕️👨🏼‍⚕️. Check out the regs here: nvhealthresponse.nv.gov/wp-content/upl…

Previously, I asked nonessential businesses to close, but this moment now demands more.

Today, I directed ALL nonessential businesses to close. I repeat. If you are NOT an essential business, I am using my power as Governor under an emergency declaration to order you to close.
This decision, like the others before it to close our schools and the industry that is the lifeblood of NV, was incredibly difficult to make. But we must grasp the gravity of our new reality as we battle this invisible enemy. If #HomeMeansNevada to you, #StayHomeForNevada.
Just after my press conference today, Nevada's total number of positive cases increased. And because this developed elsewhere before arriving in Nevada, we don’t have to guess at what comes next: the numbers aren’t slowing down, and we have not yet reached our apex.

Today, I took the necessary steps to date to try to mitigate this pandemic & keep our community safe. Medical experts have advised that the most effective course of action is to direct all Nevadans to stay home & for all nonessential businesses to close to the public for 30 days.
In order for those who will need critical care to be able to receive it, we need to do our part to stay healthy & keep our facilities available for those patients. It is our duty to the most vulnerable to take our role in stopping the spread seriously & to #StayHomeforNevada.
Only essential services should remain open, such as fire, police, transit, & health care services, in addition to businesses that provide food, shelter, or social services for disadvantaged populations.
